What do you call a person pretending to be Native American who also pretends like today isn’t Columbus Day? The answer is Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, AKA Fauxcahontas. In something so twisted that it could only come from the progressive mind of a democrat, Warren is wishing everyone a happy “Indigenous Peoples Day.” She of course is the person who pretended to be of Native American ancestry to further her academic career, which makes this insult to Christopher Columbus doubly silly.
As I’m sure you know, liberals hate Columbus, his day, and anything named after him because they say the man who opened up the Americas to Europe was a genocidal racist. Instead of Columbus Day, they have been pushing “Indigenous Peoples Day” as an alternative and a big middle finger to a great historical figure. Even the city of Columbus, OH no longer celebrates Columbus Day, which is kind of like Buffalo, NY banning hot wings just to spite the white man.
As someone who can’t accept that she was busted in a lie about her nonexistent Indian heritage, Warren kept her fantasy world alive with this hilarious tweet today:
Today we celebrate Native American communities, & the pride & resilience of people reclaiming their history & traditions. We honor the contributions that Native people make to a country that has taken so much & keeps asking for more. #IndigenousPeoplesDay
— Elizabeth Warren (@elizabethforma) October 8, 2018
I realize that Warren is a democrat and wrong about everything, but that tweet has a 100% fail rate for the truth.
First of all, “we” are not celebrating Indigenous Peoples Day, leftist lunatics are. Even in that, “celebrating” is the wrong term. It’s not like these kooks are out there throwing big parades and festivals to celebrate Native American culture; they are on their phones tweeting out their disgust for white men. Hating is not celebrating.
Next, calling a people who had the entirety of North American taken from them “resilient” is a bit of an overstatement. You can say they were mistreated and wronged, if that’s how you feel, but claiming they put up a valiant effort to hang on to their land is simply not true.
Also, in what way are they reclaiming their history and culture? They’ve always had their history and that’s not even something that can be stolen, necessitating a reclamation. Same goes for their culture. They have passed down their traditions from generation to generation and that didn’t require a daring heist to steal it back.
Warren says that, “we honor the contributions that Native people make,” to our country, but doesn’t list any of those things. And again, what’s with this “we” stuff, Pale Face? I’m not trying to say that American Indians have contributed zero to this country, but everything America is, government, culture, etc.., has nothing to do with the native people. I guess we got some good sports team names from them, but they don’t seem too happy with that contribution.
Okay, I’m walking back my claim that everything Warren said in her tweet was bullshit. She did slip a little piece of truth in there, but it was probably unintentional. She claims that the US is still taking from the Indians, which is completely untrue. However, as a US Senator who appropriated Native American culture for her own personal gain, she is certainly still taking form the Indians. Like I said, I don’t think she meant it that way, but I do like to give liberals credit when they stumble upon the truth.
Maybe Fauxcahontas is the wrong person to be attacking America for stealing from the indigenous people. Also, how long before liberals start crying that “indigenous people” is a hateful racial slur?
