Gimme an “F” Gimme a “U” Gimme a “C”…I was going to to spell out “f*ck the flag” in a cheerleader style chant, but life’s too short and I’m sure you get the picture. A cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers took a knee during the National Anthem last night in a disgusting display of hatred for our country and flag. Former 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick started this offensive “protest” a couple of years ago and the NFL is intent on allowing it to continue, driving away as many America-loving fans as possible.
Some Bay-area ding-dong captured the the 49ers cheerleader copping a squat while the Star Spangled Banner played at Thursday’s game between San Francisco and Oakland. He posted it to social media, where it immediately blew up. This thing traveled so fast that the local news was able to interview the guy who posted it during the game, and man is this guy a typical Northern Californian.
“I just thought it was a peaceful respectful Constitutionally-protected free speech,” said the man.
Yeah, nothing says respectful like completely disrespecting America, our flag, and those who sacrificed to preserve out freedom. He’s right that this is protected by the Constitution, but just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should do it.
The news found another fan who was also in this cheerleader’s anti-American corner.
“America is the land of the free and we are free to do what we want to do,” said the fan.
But wait, I thought this “take a knee” bullshit was to protest the oppression of black people in the United States. If America truly is the land of the free, as this fan stated, doesn’t that make the kneeling protest at least doubly bullshit?
The news did manage to find one guy at the game who was appalled by the kneeling cheerleader. He must have been from out of town.
“I would get rid of her,” said the only smart guy in Levi Stadium.
When asked why, he responded, “Because I support the National Anthem.”
This picture is all over the place and everyone is reporting on it, but no one has identified the cheerleader, which seems weird. My guess is the 49ers are hoping that it will die down and they can quietly sweep it under the rug. I don’t get the impression the club intends on firing this woman and in fact I believe they support her disrespectful hatred of this country.
After President Trump raised the issue, the NFL briefly showed some courage and banned players from kneeling during the National Anthem, just like every other major US sports league. They quickly walked that back however, because they are more interested in appeasing their crybaby millionaire players than letting their fans know that they support the United States of America. It’s unclear if the league has a policy on cheerleaders kneeling, but I’m guessing they don’t.
For the record, the 49ers beat the crap out of the Raiders 34-3. 49ers QB Nick Mullens, who didn’t kneel during the National Anthem, threw 3 touchdowns in the greatest statistical NFL debut in history. Looks like they don’t really need Colin Kaepernick after all. I wonder how replaceable a kneeling cheerleader is.
