Democrats, because they are insane, have this thing that no matter what Trump does it causes them to freak out. When Jeff Sessions was appointed Attorney General the democrats screamed bloody racism and demanded he resign immediately. Well, he resigned today, or maybe was fired by Trump, and those same democrats are pitching a fit accusing the President of destroying democracy or some crap like that. There’s just no pleasing these people.
Sessions is dunzo as Fox News reports:
Jeff Sessions, once one of President Trump’s most loyal and trusted advisers before infuriating Trump over his recusal from the Russia investigation, has resigned as attorney general at the request of the president.
The president [said] that Matthew Whitaker, chief of staff to Sessions, will become the acting attorney general. Whitaker, according to sources, is now overseeing everything at the Justice Department, including the Russia investigation…
“At your request, I am submitting my resignation,” Sessions wrote in a letter to the President.
“We thank Attorney General Jeff Sessions for his service, and wish him well! A permanent replacement will be nominated at a later date,” wrote Trump.
Trump was never happy with Sessions for recusing himself from the Russian collusion investigation and it’s been clear for a while that there would be a new AG following the midterms. This move is only surprising to democrats, who have been calling for Sessions to resign since he was appointed.
New York Rep. Jerrold Nadler was hysterical over Sessions back in 2017:

Democrats are so seriously full of shit and it’s beyond me why voters turned the House of Representatives over to them in yesterday’s midterms. They literally stand for nothing, only against things. And the thing the stand against the most is anything Donald J. Trump says or does, even if they agree with it fundamentally.
Democrats want Trump to raise taxes on the middle-class, but if he did they’d say he was hurting working families. Democrats want Trump to let the migrant caravan in so they can rape and murder Americans, but if he did they would accuse him of putting our safety in jeopardy. Democrats want Trump to restrict our gun ownership rights, but if he did they would scream that he’s violating the Constitution and destroying our democracy.
