The Democrats and their allies are determined to protect rogue police state hitman Robert Mueller at any cost and if ordinary Americans get screwed in the process, that’s just tough tittie said the kittie.
The anti-Trump forces are mounting a major public relations blitz to force Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to allow Flake and his band of Democrats to allow a vote on a bill that would protect Mueller from being fired by President Trump.
Mueller’s ongoing fishing expedition is a veritable goldmine for Democrats in terms of taxpayer-funded opposition research and any attempt to subject him to legitimate oversight will be ferociously opposed.
It’s not only that Flake successfully blocked the confirmation of over a dozen conservative judges in the Senate but now Democrats are making noises that they are willing to stick it to the millions of Americans who would suffer the most by threatening to shut down the government if there is not legislation in place to erect a firewall between Trump and Mueller.

Incoming House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) indicated that the Dems could soon be playing the role of the Grinch on NBC’s “Meet The Press” with Chuck Todd on Sunday Morning.

TODD: “You have openly talked about holding up the government funding vote until the Mueller protection bill is either — a vote is held on it or not. Is that still your current stance? And is that the stance you want Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer to take?”
NADLER: “Well, my current stance, and I think our stance generally, is that we must do whatever we can to protect the Mueller investigation from interference by the president. We are dependent on that investigation to get to the bottom of the corruption in the campaign, of the Russian role in the campaign, in the Trump campaign, the president’s role in colluding with the Russians if he did. We know his campaign did, the question is did he personally. So we have to do whatever we can to protect that investigation.”
Nadler also tripled-down on the vast Trump-Russia conspiracy theory by showing how Democrats have come to treat the word of a flagrant and admitted liar in former Trump attorney Michael Cohen as if it is gold.

New York Democrat Jerry Nadler, the incoming chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, said Sunday that new revelations from one of President Trump’s allies amount to proof that Russia had “leverage” over Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.
In an exclusive interview on “Meet the Press,” Nadler said that former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s admissions last week related to his role in securing a Trump Tower in Moscow during the time of the GOP presidential primary raise the specter of a compromised presidential candidate, and now president, that should trouble the American people.
“The fact that he was lying to the American people about doing business in Russia and the Kremlin knew he was lying gave the Kremlin a hold over him,” Nadler said.
Nadler’s fanatical pursuit of Trump should earn him a good amount of credibility with rank and file Democrats. After all, it wasn’t that long ago when the infamous leaked DNC emails revealed that staffers were mocking him over his weight and tummy tuck; now he can be their hero.
If Americans have to suffer during the holiday season that’s just tough because it’s not like liberals think much of Christmas anyway.
