To a Nation of Snowflakes, Christmas Has Become Another Trigger Word

By John W. Whitehead

To a nation of snowflakes, Christmas has become yet another trigger word.

The latest Christmas casualties in the campaign to create one large national safe space are none other than the beloved animated classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (denounced for promoting bullyhttps://twitter.com/JohnW_Whitehead/status/1070646820626448384ing and homophobia) which first aired on television on December 6, 1964, and the Oscar-winning tune “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” (accused of being a date rape anthem) crooned by everyone from Dean Martin to Will Ferrell and Zooey Deschanel in the movie Elf.

Also on the endangered species Christmas list are such songs as “Deck the Halls” (it supposedly promotes “gay” apparel), “Santa Baby” (it has been denounced for “slut shaming”), and “White Christmas” (perceived as being racist).

One publishing company even re-issued their own redacted version of Clement Clarke Moore’s famous poem “Twas the night before Christmas” in order to be more health conscious: the company edited out Moore’s mention of Santa smoking a pipe (“The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth, / And the smoke, it encircled his head like a wreath.”)

Oh the horror.

Media: Bush Funeral Was Not About Trump (Media Makes It About Trump)

Via The Washington Free Beacon

This week, the nation has mourned the death of the 41st president of the United States, George Herbert Walker Bush. Every living former president and the current occupant of the White House, President Donald Trump, gathered at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday to honor Bush.

While the media said the day was about honoring the 41st president, they could not help themselves and made the funeral about Trump, declaring that he does not fit in with the former presidents and compares unfavorably to George H.W. Bush. Every word spoken, every gesture made, everything that Trump did during the ceremony was picked apart and analyzed, mainly in a negative light.

FBI email chain may provide most damning evidence of FISA abuses yet

By John Solomon

Sources tell me the targeted documents may provide the most damning evidence to date of potential abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA), evidence that has been kept from the majority of members of Congress for more than two years.

The email exchanges included then-FBI Director James Comey, key FBI investigators in the Russia probe and lawyers in the DOJ’s national security division, and they occurred in early to mid-October, before the FBI successfully secured a FISA warrant to spy on Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

The email exchanges show the FBI was aware — before it secured the now-infamous warrant — that there were intelligence community concerns about the reliability of the main evidence used to support it: the Christopher Steele dossier.

The exchanges also indicate FBI officials were aware that Steele, the former MI6 British intelligence operative then working as a confidential human source for the bureau, had contacts with news media reporters before the FISA warrant was secured.

The Media are Just as Complicit in DOJ, FBI, Corruption and FISA Abuse…

By Sundance

As more and more information surfaces about corrupt DOJ and FBI activity, it’s worth remembering the media’s complicit role.

Michael Isikoff highlighted that level of how enmeshed media is with the story in February when he admitted his reporting was being used by the DOJ and FBI to advance the political objectives of the intelligence community. Additionally, FBI investigator Peter Strzok and FBI attorney Lisa Page were shown in their text messages to be leaking stories from the Clinton Investigation, the Trump investigation and the Mueller investigation to journalists at Politico, The Wall Street Journal and Washington Post. –SEE HERE–

FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe was busted by the Inspector General leaking stories to the media and then lying about it to INSD and IG investigators. FBI Director James Comey admitted to leaking stories to the New York Times, and even hired his friend Andrew Richman (off-the-books), gave him access to FBI and NSA databases, and then leaked information to Richman along with another friend Benjamin Wittes at Lawfare blog.

Lest we forget, the IG report on how the FBI handled the Clinton investigation revealed that dozens of FBI officials were actually taking bribes from the media for information.

John Stossel’s Anti-Socialism Video Age Restricted by YouTube

Via Newsbusters

Libertarian TV personality and former ABC reporter John Stossel says Youtube placed age restrictions on a video he published about socialism. The restrictions were later removed, but the fact they occurred is part of a trend that concerns conservatives and free speech advocates.

Stossel wrote at Townhall on Dec. 5, that Google informed that morning via email that it wouldn’t allow his “Socialism Leads to Violence” video to be viewed by young people. In his column, Stossel wondered whether this video restriction was the case of oversensitive algorithms or of big tech bias.

Both are possible. His video, hosted by Gloria Alvarez includes footage of devastation after a rocket hits a city, as well as footage featuring riots, starving Venezuelans eating garbage, and a sprinkling of profanity.

So it is possible an overzealous algorithm might have flagged this video. But there is a generally a distinction, between graphic violence or disturbing imagery shown for its own sake versus showing historical violence as a necessary tool in education — and Stossel clearly intended to educate about the effects of socialism.

However, it is also possible the content was censored due to its political views.

Watch Out For Falling Knives

By Ben Garrison

The stock market flew up for ten years because of low interest rates and there was no other place investors could go and make good returns. The markets were also helped by many big companies conducting stock buy backs. But now the stock market seems to be in balloon territory. Some of the valuations bordered on the ridiculous. Tesla, for example. Its pot smoking CEO was forced to step down for a while for making claims he could not back up. Amazon briefly reached $2,000 per share. Who can afford such a thing? Certainly not millennials. Nearly one third of them have been forced to move back in with their parents. Many have college degrees funded by massive debt. They can’t buy homes, let alone invest in the stock market. In fact, the majority Americans can’t afford to dabble in the stock market. Many are also deep in debt and living paycheck to paycheck. Massive debt is choking the entire system.

The billionaire elite control most of the stocks. Access to super computers helped guarantee their wins, but even they have been cashing out. George Soros, for example. Insiders always know when to bail.
