Patriotic Veteran’s Campaign To Fund The Wall Raises Nearly $3 Million

Here is a holiday story that is certain to warm the hearts of every red-blooded, patriotic citizen as well as burn the loony left like battery acid in their foul mouths.

Funding for President Trump’s border wall which is essential for the safety and security of Americans continues to be held hostage by Democrats and their GOP allies who are little more than corporate puppets but patriotic citizens are now stepping up to the plate.

Congress is putting the finishing touches on a continuing resolution to fund the government through February what isn’t likely to include anything for the wall and by the time that it comes up again, the hope seems to be that Trump will be buried under the mountain of investigations that the incoming Dem majority in the House are ready to unleash on him.

That isn’t stopping Brian Kolfage, a triple amputee veteran who took the initiative to circumvent the worthless politicians who are beholden to big monied interests by appealing directly to the American people with a GoFundMe account to raise money for the wall.

And in what can be described as a Christmas miracle, the pot is rapidly growing as the word begins to spread.

If neither Mexico nor Congress is going to fund President Trump’s border wall, then Brian Kolfage has a more expedient plan: GoFundMe.

In just four days, the military veteran’s crowdsourced campaign for construction of the border wall has raked in more than $2.5 million in donations from more than 43,000 people as of early Thursday. Kolfage, a triple amputee who won a Purple Heart while serving in Iraq, is aiming to raise $1 billion for wall funding through the GoFundMe. He proposed on the GoFundMe page that if every one of the 63 million people who voted for Trump donated $80, they would get the wall that Trump promised them, echoing an idea included in a New York Post column over the weekend.

The 37-year-old Air Force vet of Miramar Beach, Fla., said in an email to The Washington Post that he decided to start the campaign on Sunday because “political games from both parties” have been holding back funding for the wall. He said his campaign, “We The People Will Fund The Wall,” was about “giving the people the power.”

“It’s time to stop playing games with voters,” Kolfage said in an email. “If we are told we’re getting something, make it happen.”

As of early Thursday morning, “We The People Will Fund The Wall” has raised nearly $3 million and Kolfage will be making the rounds in the media so it will continue to grow.
