Saturday President Trump made a compromise offer to the democrats to end the government shutdown. Proving that they are not serious people at all, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rejected the offer before Trump even made it. You cannot negotiate with terrorists, idiots, or democrats and it’s clear at this point they are all the same thing.
The government has been shutdown for almost a month now because democrats refuse to send President Trump a spending bill that includes a dime for border security. The major sticking for democrats is that they hate the idea of a physical barrier on our Southern border that would keep future democratic voters, AKA illegal immigrants, from walking into the country.
As Fox News reports, President Trump offered a generous compromise:
Trump announced that he was prepared to back a three-year extension of protections for 700,000 immigrants who came to the country illegally as children and were shielded from deportation under the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. This, in exchange for the $5.7 billion he has requested for a barrier on the southern border with Mexico.
The offered deal would also extend protections for 300,000 recipients of the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) program — which protects immigrants from designated countries with conditions that prevent nationals from returning safely.
In addition, Trump offered $800 million in humanitarian assistance, $805 million in drug detection technology, more border patrol agents as well as more immigration judges to help process immigrant asylum cases. In other words, the President is willing to give the democrats all kinds of shit they claim they want in exchange for a border wall.
But before Trump ever uttered one word of this proposed compromise, Nancy Pelosi rejected the offer with this garbage she prepared before the President’s Saturday speech:

The fact that she says that she’s rejecting the offer because it doesn’t include many things Trump offered shows how completely full of shit she is. She says democrats support infrastructure, which is what a border wall is, drug detection tech, more border patrol agents, and more immigration judges. That’s exactly what Trump just offered and she shot it down before he ever even offered it. Like I said, these are not people who are serious about immigration enforcement or reopening the government.
At least Chuck Schumer waited until Trump made the offer before he rejected it for ridiculous reasons.
Striking a similar tone, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said it was unfortunate that in an effort to resolve the shutdown, Trump “keeps putting forward one-sided and ineffective remedies.”
He urged the president to open up the government as a prelude to productive and bipartisan solutions on immigration and the southern border.
“It was the president who singlehandedly took away DACA and TOS protections in the first place. Offering some protections back in exchange for the wall is not a compromise, but more hostage taking,” said Schumer in a statement.
So now according to the democrats, giving the democrats much of what they wanted is “one-sided.” Actually, it kind of is, because Trump is bending over backwards to appease these unreasonable lunatics, so it’s one-side in favor of the democrats.
Schumer says Trump has to reopen the government before they can negotiate a bipartisan agreement on border security and immigration reform. What are the chances that they will negotiate anything when they are rejecting an offer that gives them everything they pretend they want? Trump needs to just declare a national emergency to get the border wall built and cut these leftist clowns out of the equation altogether.
The fact of the matter is that democrats are so hysterically opposed to President Trump that it doesn’t matter what he proposes or how much he’s willing to compromise. He could give the democrats amnesty for all illegal aliens, automatic citizenship, and to put Pelosi and Schumer on Mount Rushmore and they’d still reject it, accusing him of partisanship and racism. You cannot reason with unreasonable people.
