Liberal Rag Digs Up Old Footage Of Beto In A Skintight Purple Sheep Suit

If the celebrity darling Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke is going to defy the odds and become the heir to JFK as the dashing new hope of the Democratic party it’s not going to be easy.

First off, the Democrats are consumed by identity politics which has manifested itself in the open demonization of white males so Beto, Bernie and Biden are all already at a disadvantage with Kamala Harris having the inside track.

Secondly, Beto is not exactly helping matters with his own quirkiness, a controversial DUI incident when he was young and a penchant for the bizarre like live streaming his freaking dental appointments on Instagram.

A video has been unearthed from the days when Beto was in a punk rock band that shows the candidate acting anything like “Kennedyesque” unless JFK enjoyed prancing around in a skintight, purple sheep costume.

Liberal rag Mother Jones published the video of O’Rourke onstage in the garb during a performance of the Ramones song “Blitzkrieg Bop”back in 2000.

Former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke’s (D) musical talents were apparent again on Wednesday after liberal news outlet Mother Jones published old videos of O’Rourke performing with a band while in full costume — a onesie and sheep mask.

In the video, O’Rourke performs the rhythm guitar part of the classic The Ramones hit “Blitzkrieg Bop” in a New Zealand accent while dressed as a sheep complete with a full mask at a 2003 concert at the now-closed Moontime Pizza in El Paso, Texas according to Mother Jones.

The band’s gimmick, according to one former member, was to pretend to be a group of famous artists from New Zealand that disguised their looks onstage to hide their true identities.

“Our persona was that we were a very famous band from New Zealand and we didn’t want people to know our true identities — that’s why we wore masks,” Ailbhe Cormack, the band’s former bassist, told Mother Jones. “I think people followed along with the mystery of it, but they knew who we were.”

Video of the performance posted to YouTube had just dozens of views before its discovery Wednesday, according to Mother Jones.

Some have suggested that the getup is really that of a goat and that it has Satanic overtones.

Mother Jones has carried the water for Hillary and their star reporter David Corn had a big hand in the early dissemination of the bogus Fusion GPS dirty dossier that has served as the foundation of the deep state and Obergruppenführer Mueller’s rogue mission to destroy President Trump.

By releasing the Beto-Sheep video, it looks like they will be continuing to run interference for her until she sweeps in to declare her candidacy in 2020 after the House Dems impeach Trump.
