No headline can accurately depict the insanity of this case. Basically a scumbag raped a girl, was released on bond and raped another girl, was released on bond and then raped another girl all in the span of a few days. What does a guy have to do to convince a judge that he’s a risk to the community? This happened in New Mexico and apparently the state has a strict 3 child-rape limit.
KOB4 reports that on January 14, 29-year-old Raymond Hernandez got his girlfriend’s 13-year-old daughter and her friend drunk in their Taos, NM residence. Hernandez then proceeded to sexually assault the 13-year-old and was immediately arrested. Judge Ernest Ortega figured it was no big deal for an adult to rape a drunken teenager, so he released Hernandez on a $10,000 bond and ordered him to wear an ankle bracelet.
Hernandez’s girlfriend probably has one of those “World’s Greatest Moms” coffee mugs because after Hernandez was arrested for raping her young daughter, she let him back in the house. Two days later on January 16, Hernandez raped 19-month-old girl who also lived at the house.
Again Hernandez was arrested and again he appear before Judge Ernest Ortega. Having seen Hernandez 2 times in 3 days, accused of raping children, the judge decided to release him on a $20,000 bond. I guess it’s 10 Gs per child rape in New Mexico or something.
I’m sure you see where this is going. On January 19, one week after the first rape, Hernandez struck again. This time he branched out from raping girls in his own house and raped a 5-year-old girl who lived next door. Again, why did the girlfriend keep letting this dude back in the house when he was raping every young child there? Also, is she the one that kept posting his bond?
They say love is blind, but it’s also clearly very stupid.
Hernandez was again arrested and will go before the judge on Thursday. Let’s keep our fingers crossed, but I suspect Judge Ernest Ortega is going to give him a $30,000 bail and his girlfriend will spring him.
“I’m speechless, he needs to pay and I hope the judge puts him behind bars and keep him there,” said neighbor Gloria Lucero.
She is aware that a judge already let him out twice, right? Plus, who could have ever imagined that a guy who raped two children would rape a third child?
The district attorney said he is trying to secure an indictment before Hernandez goes before the judge on Thursday. Maybe that’ll keep him in jail, but then again maybe it won’t. If I were the prosecutor, I’d at least try to find a different judge.
The Taos County Sheriff thinks there may be other victims, which is as sure of bet there is. A guy who raped three children in week didn’t just pick up the habit. This wasn’t Hernandez’s New Years resolution, he’s a sick sexual predator who has been honing his craft for quite some time.
The only thing missing from this story is Hernandez’s immigration status. Maybe he’s legal, but those illegal immigration sure are a rapey bunch. Especially when it comes to young girls. Maybe the news is omitting this detail so they don’t embarrass the democrats who want our country flooded with scumbags like this.
