Democrats who are aspiring to retake the White House continue to be their own worst enemies by embracing the goofy ideas of former bartender Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the socialist Twitter queen whose crackpot ideas would be laughed at in a saner time.
This week, AOC was the subject of much mockery when details of her “Green New Deal” were finally revealed including a draft that was posted on her website (since removed) that included calls to replace EVERY building in America, the construction of high-speed rail systems to largely replace airplanes and to provide “economic security for all who are unable or unwilling to work.”
There is no way to deny that the Democrats have regressed into a leaderless conglomeration of racists, misandrists, communists and kooks as the party no longer resembles what it was in saner times – it wasn’t even this batshit under Barack Obama.
Speaking of the former Emir of Obamastan, the one candidate who most aspires to be just like Barack is former Newark mayor turned Dem Senator Cory Booker, a temperamental man who is prone to wild emotional mood swings, has suggested that violence be used against Republicans and has a bizarre fixation on homosexuality.
Fancying himself to be Obama V.2, Booker is in the running for the nomination and like the rest of the clueless clowns who are completely out of touch with real America, he has wholeheartedly embraced the whackery of Ocasio-Cortez and is speaking in the sweeping historical terms of the ignorant.
Get this: Booker compares the Green New Deal to fighting the Nazis and going to the moon as he fearmongered to suckers and rubes in Iowa.

Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., compared the Green New Deal resolution introduced by House Democrats to the American landing on the moon and the fight against Nazi Germany.
Booker, who is running for president in 2020, was speaking at a campaign event Friday in Mason City, Iowa.
“Our planet is in peril, and we need to be bold,” he said. “There’s a lot of people blowing back on the Green New Deal. They’re going, ‘Oh, it’s impractical, oh it’s too expensive, oh it’s all of this.’ If we used to govern our dreams that way, we would have never gone to the moon.”
“When the planet has been in peril in the past, who came forward to save the Earth from the scourge of Nazi and totalitarian regimes? We came forward. Who came forward to save the planet or continents from financial ruin? We came forward with the Marshall Plan,” he said.
The closer that Democrats go to the moon, the easier that it will be for President Trump to be reelected because Americans are not only going to reject socialism but also the unhinged moonbats who are selling it.
