How Legit Was That ‘Attack’ On The Press At Trump’s El Paso Rally?

Monday night President Trump held a rally in El Paso, TX for a border wall and a member of the press was allegedly attacked. Naturally the liberal media is outraged and ponting its finger at Trump for inciting violence against the press with his calls of “fake news.” The attack was actually just a shove, but that’s not the only thing that stinks about this story. The attacker in question sure looks like a liberal plant who was trying to make the President and his supporters look bad. It could have been real, but when something smells this bad that usually means it’s shit.

The BBC reports:

Sporting a Make America Great Again cap, the man shoved and swore at the BBC’s Ron Skeans and other news crews before being pulled away.

Mr Skeans said the “very hard shove” came from his blindside. “I didn’t know what was going on.”

Mr Skeans said the man almost knocked him and his camera over twice before he was wrestled away by a blogger.

The BBC cameraman described the attack as, “an incredibly violent attack,” which is ridiculous. He was pushed, but not even hard enough to topple him or cause him to drop his camera. That’s more like an “incredibly mild attack” or if you want to get technical, not an attack at all.

Two BBC reporters witnessed the slight shoving incident and put the blame squarely on President Trump:

BBC Washington producer Eleanor Montague and Washington correspondent Gary O’Donoghue were sitting in front of the camera.

Ms Montague said the president had spoken of “fake news” and how the media misrepresented him in the run up to the assault.

Now here’s video of this alleged assault:

The first thing you will notice is that Trump is talking about minority unemployment prior to the attack, not “fake news” as indicated by the BBC reporter.

The second thing that may jump out at you is the fact that the alleged attacker is Hispanic. And not just regular Hispanic, but Vato Hispanic, with a thick accent.

“F*ck the media,” says the man as he is dragged off.

I guess this guy could be legitimately a Trump supporter, but he doesn’t feel like one. He could just as easily be an undercover operative from La Raza or any other radical immigration group trying to embarrass the President and his immigration policies.

I checked all of the major liberal media sources and they are all simply regurgitating the information from the BBC story. Nobody has identified this man, which seems kind of weird. Usually in a case like this, the liberal media “outs” these type of people and gets them fired from their jobs. That didn’t happen this time around.

Just the fact that the alleged attack was nothing more than a push makes it seem staged. If some dude was legitimately pissed off at the press and wanted to do them harm, he wouldn’t just shove a camera man, he’d punch him in the face and stomp him where he fell. If however, someone was trying to stage an attack, pushing a cameraman and shouting anti-press statements would be the way to go.

Another thing that makes me think this is bullshit comes from USA Today, which reports there were plenty of other anti-Trump protestors in the venue Monday night:

The assault on Skeans was one of several interruptions during Trump’s speech. The others appeared to be caused by various protesters who were removed at different points in the rally. One such incident immediately preceded Skeans’ shoving.

So maybe this Hispanic homeboy dressed up in a MAGA and shoved a cameraman to prove that Trump’s anti-media rhetoric causes his supporters to violently lash out at the press. That’s exactly the kind of left-handed thing a leftist would do.

The real way to tell how legit this attack was will be whether or not the guy is identified by the liberal media. If this was a real attack, the press would be relentless in find out who that guy is and the BBC cameraman would press for assault charges to be filed. If that doesn’t happen in the next couple of days, this was fake as shit. The liberal news would never try to expose a leftist hoax attack.
