If you thought it was petty for Nancy Pelosi to disinvite President Trump from delivering the State of the Union address, you ain’t seen nothing. The House Speaker has now kicked Vice President Mike Pence out of his office in the US Capitol building. Why? Because she can. This bitch is literally drunk with power with spitefulness that is only surpassed by her ugliness.
In addition to being the VP, Mike Pence is also the president of the Senate and has an office on that side of the Capitol. In 2017, as a goodwill gesture then-Speaker Paul Ryan gave Pence an office on the House side of the building. Now that the democrats are in charge of the House, there is no goodwill between them and the White House so Pelosi has told Pence to pack up his shit and GTFO.
The Speaker of the House is solely responsible for assigning office space and Pelosi thinks it’s the responsible thing to turn the VP out on his ass. The office now sits empty and Pence’s nameplate was pried off the door.
NPR reached out to Pelosi for an explanation and only got a response from someone described as a democratic aide.
“Room assignments are reviewed and changed at the beginning of every Congress,” said the aide.
The aide didn’t mention what Pelosi has in store for this recently liberated space but there are some obvious predictions. She could turn it into a Botox clinic so she can quickly stop her face from drooping before her weekly press conferences. Or perhaps give the clinic dual purpose and offer up abortions as well. I’m sure the office would make for nice living accommodations for about 50 illegal immigrants and having them so close would make it easier to get them to vote for democrats.
If kicking Mike Pence out seems petty that’s because it is. This is basically Pelosi taking her ball and going home. She’s making whine out of sour grapes because with Republicans in control of the Senate and White House, she can’t push her wacko agenda. This is the next best thing she can think of.
Next Pelosi will have all the M,A, and G keys removed from House computers so nobody can spell “MAGA.” Then she’ll ban House staff from eating at McDonald’s because President Trump is fond of the fast-food chain. If that doesn’t take Trump down a notch, maybe she’ll black out all the windows in the Capitol so nobody can see the Trump International Hotel down the street.
I think what this really points to is that Pelosi knows the Mueller report and the hundreds of House investigations into President Trump are going to come up empty. Yesterday she said, to the dismay of liberals everywhere, that she has no interest in pursuing impeachment proceedings against President Trump. She’s actually saying that there’s nothing she can do to get rid of the duly-elected President of the United States, so her next course of action is evict Mike Pence from an office he rarely used. Take that, Trump!
