Though he has some competition from Eric “Duke Nukem” Swalwell and Shifty Adam Schitt, California Rep. Ted Lieu’s position as dumbest guy in Congress is fairly secure. As for the dumbest woman in Congress, the field is wild open. In the Senate there is non-English Speaker Mazie Hirono as well as 2020 loser Kirsten Gilliblonde. In the House there was an exciting first-round matchup between veteran Maxine Waters and rookie Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Who will win the battle of Dumb and Dumber Too: Electric Boogaloo?
AOC struck first with this historically-challenged statement on FDR and the Constitution. MSNBC held a town hall on climate change, because of course they did:
According to AOC, Congress amended the Constitution to prevent FDR from being re-elected:

FDR was elected president 4 times and because of that a Constitutional Amendment was passed to put a 2-term limit on the presidency. That much is true, but AOC gets it entirely wrong because FDR died in office in 1945, while the 22nd Amendment wasn’t approved unit 1947 and ratified in 1951. “They” didn’t pass a Constitutional amendment to make sure a dead guy didn’t get reelected for a fifth term.
As a bonus, earlier in the answer AOC said that of the “235 odd seats” held by democrats in the house, 240 of them secretly support her Green New Deal.
That’s some bad math, but nobody does shitty numbers like Maxine Waters. Here she is explaining how the Mueller report is ten times bigger than anyone else is reporting at the NAACP Image awards.
After calling Trump a liar about 100 times, Mad Maxine chipped in with a lie of her own:
“No matter what has been revealed thus far and there’s only four pages of what appears to be a report of about, maybe somewhere between 3,000, 4,000 pages,” Waters said.
Waters is trying to make a case that AG William Barr’s 4-page summery of the Mueller report, which exonerates Trump on collusion and obstruction, doesn’t really exonerate the President. She got the 4 pages of Barr’s summary right, but in claiming the Mueller report is 3,000-4,000 pages long she is way off. By all media accounts the Mueller report is about 300 pages.
As an added bonus, Waters promised that no matter what is in that massive report, the House “sex committees” will still investigate:
“The Congress of the United States of America has a responsibility for oversight and investigation and for those of us sitting on the sex— six, rather, committees that have the responsibility for oversight and investigation, we are going to continue,” said Waters.
Maybe it’s just me, but I think it’s a bad idea to let any democrat sit on a sex committee. Those guys are all perverts with busy hands.
It was close, but I’m calling this round for Maxine Waters. AOC passes herself off as an expert on things she knows nothing about, but Mad Maxine has age, experience, and senility giving her the edge in stupidity.
