These are dark and dangerous times in American where racial resentment has been used to fuel the engine for the imposition of a grand socialist utopia on the nation.
The Democrats have only two things to run on race baiting and socialism and they can tie them both into a nice package with a big red bow through reparations.
The current crop of Democrat presidential hopefuls has embraced ideas that were once relegated to the fringes as major selling points to voters regardless of how crazy or how damaging to the nation that they may be.
It’s bad enough that the party of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders are looking to appeal to millennials and unproductive members of society with the siren song of free college tuition, Medicare for all and guaranteed government jobs but an uglier component is also beginning to be introduced.
That would be the idea of reparations paid to blacks for slavery which has long been a cherished idea to black identity extremists as well as to the race-baiters and demagogues whose divisiveness has set race relations back decades.
The very concept that Americans who never bore any responsibility for slavery (and in many cases whose families were still in Europe at the time) would be forced to pay money to those who weren’t even born when it was practiced in this country.
It’s just another socialist redistribution of wealth scheme but with the added component of race and in these twisted times of fake news, hate crime hoaxes and propaganda, cynical candidates are looking to promote this obscene and anti-American scam in order to advance their own political careers.
Efforts are now intensifying with the 2020 gaggle of extremist idiots jumping onboard the reparations express and a new commission being created by Democrat members of Congress to study how to best implement this scam.

Via The Hill, “Reparations bill wins new momentum in House”:
House legislation to form a commission to study whether black Americans should receive reparations for slavery is getting a significant boost from Democrats on the presidential campaign trail.
Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.), the head of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), suggested that action on a reparations measure sponsored by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) is all but certain, with Democrats now in control of the lower chamber and the idea gaining prominence on the national stage.
Jackson Lee’s bill would form a commission to study the issue of reparations but does not call for black Americans to receive payments.
“I don’t think there needs to be pressure, we’re in charge,” Bass said. “It’s being discussed, I’m sure we’re going to get there.”
2020 hopefuls including Sens. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) are backing the legislation. Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), another presidential candidate, is a co-sponsor.
And on Wednesday, former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) endorsed the idea, a pivot from his earlier statement of opposition to reparations payments.
“Absolutely I would sign that into law,” O’Rourke said of Jackson Lee’s bill during an interview with the Rev. Al Sharpton at his National Action Network convention in New York.
Beto’s onboard now too:
Al Sharpton: Sheila Jackson-Lee has proposed a commission to study reparations. If that passes and you are president of the United States, would you sign that bill?

Just imagine what is going to happen when it comes time to enforce this ripoff – it isn’t going to be pretty.
