Democrat Ilhan Omar continues to provide fodder to critics who feel that she is unfit to sit on the prestigious House Foreign Relations Committee.
The Somali-born congresswoman has along with fellow freshmen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Rashida Tlaib been touted by the leftist media as the new face of the Democratic party despite views that are antithetical to America like socialism and anti-Semitism.
It has been the latter that continues to dog Rep. Omar who can’t manage to stay out of the news for her Israel bashing and association with groups that many consider being as sympathetic to terrorists such as the Muslim Brotherhood.
Now, a recently unearthed video by a conservative group is going to once again put Omar in the spotlight even as she is embroiled in a firestorm over remarks that have been widely perceived of being disrespectful and dismissive to the victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Courtesy of the Reagan Battalion, a clip shows a giggly Omar joking about the extremist organization that was responsible for murdering over 3,000 people on that day that will forever life in infamy.

Fox News reports, “Ilhan Omar, in bizarre clip, jokes about people saying ‘Al Qaeda’ in menacing tone”:
Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar, in a newly resurfaced clip of an old interview, joked about people saying “Al Qaeda” and “Hezbollah” in a severe tone — while noting nobody says words like “America” that way.
“When I was in college, I took a terrorism class. … The thing that was interesting in the class was every time the professor said ‘Al Qaeda’ his shoulders went up,” Omar said during an interview from 2013 when she was an activist within the Somali community, chuckling as she imitated the professor saying “Al Qaeda” and “Hezbollah.”
Omar went on to contrast the way people say the names of terror groups with how they pronounce the names of western powers:
“But you know, it is that you don’t say ‘America’ with an intensity, you don’t say ‘England’ with the intensity. You don’t say ‘the army’ with the intensity,” she continued. “… But you say these names [Al Qaeda] because you want that word to carry weight. You want it to be something.”
Omar also seemed to make the comparison between the U.S. Army and the diabolical terrorist entity that was led by Osama bin Laden that was behind 9/11 during the interview.
That the Democrats wouldn’t have considered the possibility that Omar’s history of extremist views would come back to bite her if elected is inconceivable and yet, the party has empowered the proverbial three-headed monster that has now devoured it.
Despite her torrent of anti-Semitic comments since she was sworn, the trivializing of 9/11 and now the disgusting video, Speaker Nancy Pelosi continues to coddle Omar out of mortal terror that she Ocasio-Cortez will unleash her Twitter mob on the stammering septuagenarian.

Even Pelosi may have limits to what she will tolerate but by publicly chastizing Omar she would lose a tremendous amount of face after appearing with her on the cover of far-left Rolling Stone magazine back in February.
Honored to join @SpeakerPelosi, @AOC, and @JahanaHayesCT on the cover of @RollingStone!

Considering what has already been dug up in only a few short months, there is likely a treasure trove of material on Omar floating around and unless Pelosi does something, it is going to end up in every Republican campaign video leading up to next year’s election.
