Fat Jerry Sang A Different Tune Over Eric Holder’s Contempt Of Congress

HEY! HEY! HEY! It’s Fat Jerry!

Democrats continued to careen toward an unprecedented constitutional crisis when Rep. Jerrold Nadler followed through with a vote charging Attorney General William Barr with contempt of Congress over his refusal to violate the law by providing the party with a totally unredacted version of the Mueller report.

The porcine chairman of the House Judiciary Committee held the vote despite objections by Republicans who unsuccessfully attempted to appeal to sanity and it predictably passed along party lines.

Now the ship of fools is sailing into uncharted waters, especially since the Trump administration chose to flout impeachment obsessed Dems by exerting executive privilege over the unredacted sections and troves of taxpayer-funded opposition research produced by Mueller’s partisan goons.

In true form, “Fat Jerry” then quickly waddled toward the cameras to grandstand over his latest gross abuse of power.

However, Nadler is nothing but an overstuffed hypocrite and partisan hack who sang a much different tune when it was Obama’s vicious hatchetman Eric Holder who was facing a vote for contempt over actual issues.

Unfortunately for Nadler, the internet is forever and one of his old tweets quickly surfaced although you won’t hear about it on CNN.

Via The Daily Wire:

In 2012, Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, became the first sitting member of a president’s cabinet in U.S. history to be held in contempt of Congress after he refused to turn over documents related to the Obama administration’s “Operation Fast and Furious,” which gave military-style weapons to Mexican drug cartels which were then used to kill U.S. federal agents.

In response to Holder being held in contempt, Nadler tweeted the following in 2012: “Just joined the #walkout of the House chamber to protest the shameful, politically-motivated GOP vote holding AG Holder in contempt.”

Here are the responses from other notable House Democrats on Holder being held in contempt:

–Adam Schiff: “To say this is a terrible use of Congress’ power and time is an understatement.”

–Nancy Pelosi: “It’s such a ridiculous thing. This contempt [vote] don’t get me started.”

–Steny Hoyer: “The action on the floor today is unprecedented in the history of America.”

–Elijah Cummings: “You’ve been holding the Attorney General to an impossible standard” and that he solely was “protecting documents he was prohibited by law from producing.”

Try as they do to disguise their cynical political agenda in phony platitudes about defending “democracy” it is well-documented that Nadler is a big fat hypocrite and that hypocrisy serves as the coin of the realm in the Democratic party.

Nadler’s insistence on ignoring precedent in order to generate headlines and whip another shovel of bloody red meat to the socialist hate mob was criticized by the White House.

Where this goes next is anyone’s guess. Do Nadler and other authoritarian Dems who can’t get over the fact that they lost an election go nuclear and order Barr’s arrest?

Possible but the optics wouldn’t be good outside of their lunatic fringe base so locking up the sitting Attorney General may be a bridge too far.

However, the Trump administration’s use of executive privilege may be the triggering mechanism for the impeachment that may well end up being political suicide for the extremists who have no business holding positions of power.
