The worst thing you can do to a democrat is directly quote them. President Trump used Rep. Ilhan Omar’s exact words in a tweet and he was accused of inciting violence and putting her life in danger. AOC is also upset that people (Republicans) have used her words against her, calling them stupid for taking her statements seriously.
Democrats flip-flop their positions all the time, usually to conform to the prevailing liberals winds. While this is usually pathetic pandering, we finally got a flip-flop that’s welcomed news. NY Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez originally told us the world was going to end in 12 years and she said it last year, which only gave us 11 years before extinction. Now she says the world won’t be ending in 2030 and that it was all just a big joke. Hilarious, right?
In promoting her Green New Deal, which would eliminate cow farts and pay people to not work, AOC warned us that the world would end in 12 years if we don’t adopt her silly socialist proposal and stop the mythical man-made global warming.
She has apparently run the numbers again and it turns out the world is safe for now:
This is a technique of the GOP, to take dry humor + sarcasm literally and “fact check” it.
Like the “world ending in 12 years” thing, you’d have to have the social intelligence of a sea sponge to think it’s literal.
But the GOP is basically Dwight from The Office so who knows. https://t.co/pmkwrdeAnq

Get it? She was kidding about that stuff, you uptight Republicans. It was either dry humor or sarcasm, so let’s move on.
What AOC is really saying is that anyone who took her “the world ends in 12 years” joke seriously is a complete idiot. As it turns out, I found one of those dum-dums who took it literally and her name is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez:
Back in January of this year, AOC said, “The world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change.”
And weirdly enough, she let the GOP know she was most certainly not joking:
For some reason GOP seems to think this is a gaffe, but it’s actually a generational difference.
Young people understand that climate change is an existential threat: 3,000 Americans died in Hurricane María.
The UN says we’ve got 12 years left to fix it: https://t.co/KzawP5oI1M https://t.co/xTjtM39cCL

AOC in January: The world is going to end in 12 years. This is not a joke people!
AOC in May: What? You can’t take a joke? The World is not ending in 12 years.
Now who’s a sea sponge?
What AOC is really saying is that anyone who takes her seriously is not very intelligent, and she’s definitely right about that. What she fails to understand is that Republicans don’t take her seriously, they laugh at all of the stupid shit that comes out of her mouth.
And since AOC is all about the “fact-check” sea sponges are socially intelligent in the context of their sea sponge society. AOC can’t say the same thing about herself being socially intelligent in our human society.
The best thing about this is that AOC doest even realize that without her doomsday alarmism, her socialist Green New Deal has even less of a chance becoming a reality. She literally just removed all reasons for anyone to consider her stupid plan. Calling her a sea sponge is an insult to sea sponges. Sponge Bob Square Pants would kick her ass on Jeopardy and that’s joke.
