5 illegal alien children have died in US Border Patrol custody since December. They were all sick when apprehended and given the best medical treatment possible, but that hasn’t stopped democrats and the liberal media from trying to manufacture a crisis and of course blame Trump. One democrat broke from the party narrative and actually accused the Border Patrol and DHS of murdering these illegal alien kids.
Acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan testified in front of a House committee on Wednesday in what was yet another democrat attempt to defund border security. Illinois Rep. Lauren Underwood used her time to accuse McAleenan, DHS, and the Border Patrol of straight-up murdering illegal immigrant children:
“With five kids that have died, I feel the evidence is really clear that this is intentional, it’s a policy choice being made on purpose by this administration and it’s cruel and inhumane,” spat Underwood.
So the deaths of these 5 children (some were teenagers) who were in BP custody was intentional? That’s the same thing as saying that the Border Patrol killed the kids on purpose, which is another way of saying they murdered the illegal aliens. What the hell is the matter with democrats?
That’s a question Acting Secretary McAleenan also want to know when he told Underwood that her statement was an, “appalling accusation.”
Underwood wasn’t the only democrat to accuse DHS of murder. California Rep. Nanette Barragán also said she felt the illegal alien deaths were “intentional.” Then she proceeded to give McAleenan shit because he defended the DHS saying he was proud of their record.
“That is despicable to say. You should not be proud of a record of having five children die under your watch,” said Barragán.
Cool. Now do Planned Parenthood. How many children have died under their watch?
Also, Kevin McAleenan took over the DHS in April, so most of the illegal alien deaths didn’t happen under his watch.
If there’s one bright spot in this sham hearing it’s this: Rep. Mike Rogers, R-Ala., the ranking member of the House Homeland Security committee, demanded that Underwood’s comments be “taken down” meaning her words would be stricken from the record and condemned. This procedure is in place to remove questionable and/or offensive comments made by committee members.
The committee voted 9-5 to take down Underwood’s accusation, which means other democrats found her words appalling and voted against her. It gets funnier because once a vote to take down a statement occurs, it opens up the speaker of the offensive words to a variety of punishments. I don’t know what those punishments are, but it would be awesome if they made Underwood sit in the corner wearing a “dunce” cap.
Making this particularly sickening is that the illegal alien children who died in BP custody were sick and malnourished before they were ever apprehended. Their awful parents dragged them across the desert without food and water to illegally sneak into the country. If democrats are looking for some blame to pass out, put a big scoop of it on the plates of these garbage parents who actually did kill their kids.
This is just more of the ghoulish practice by the Democratic Party to exploit death to push their shitty agenda. They use the deaths of innocent victims in mass shootings to ram gun control down all of our throats and here they exploiting the deaths of illegal aliens to get their anti-American open-borders bullshit going.
