Nancy Pelosi Thinks She Can Get Rid Of Trump With The 25th Amendment

Nancy Pelosi has been all over the place lately with impeachment talk. In one moment she says President Trump is guilty of impeachable offensives and the next she’s saying the House is definitely not considering impeachment. It’s now clear why she is resisting her fellow democrats to impeach the President for no particular reason. She believes that she can get Trump removed using the 25th Amendment. You know, that thing in the Constitution that allows the president’s cabinet to remove him from power? Someone should tell her she’s not part of Trump’s cabinet, but it might be more fun to let her believe this delusion.

In her weekly press conference, Pelosi suggested that President Trump should be forced into rehab, which, quite frankly, is crazy.

“I wish that his family or his administration or his staff would have an intervention for the good of the country,” said Pelosi of Trump.

It’s already funny that Pelosi thinks President Trump is a raging drug addict, but she cranked it up to 11 when asked to clarify her statement.

“Can you explain the comment you made about staff making an intervention?” a reporter asked.

“Statutory intervention? That would be good. Article 25. That’s a good idea. I’ll take it up with my caucus, not that they haven’t been thinking about it,” replied Pelosi.

Really, both Pelosi and the House democrats are considering invoking the 25th Amendment? Is it possible that democrats have literally no idea what their powers are? I think that’s a given considering how unconstitutional everything they do is.

In this same press conference these words came out of Pelosi’s mouth:

“I do not intend not to honor my oath of office, nor do my colleagues in the House of Representatives to protect and defend the Constitution,” said Pelosi.

Okay, let’s see what the Constitution has to say in the 25th Amendment about removing the President from office:

Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Basically if the Vice President and the cabinet decide the President can no longer perform the duties of the office, they can vote him off the island and the VP takes over. Now the VP and cabinet must inform Congress about this decision, but the Congress is not involved in making it.

As you may have noticed, because Nancy didn’t, Pelosi and the other House democrats are neither the Vice President nor members of Trump’s cabinet. It would be well beyond her Constitutional powers to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office.

After a day of lunacy from Pelosi, President Trump summed her up like this:

“I have been watching her for a long period of time. She’s not the same person. She’s lost it,” said Trump.

Where are all the liberal media fact-checkers on this Trump statement? Him saying “she’s lost it” implies that Pelosi ever had it. Sorry Mr. President but you get four and half Pinocchios for that one.

Pelosi thinks George W. Bush is president, that you can’t yell “wolf” in a theater, and that mowing the lawn will stop illegal immigration. She’s never been in control of her facilities and her thinking she can get rid of Trump with the 25th Amendment is more proof that she’s completely bonkers. If anyone needs an intervention it’s her.
