2020 Democratic Hopeful Says Guns Are Easier To Get Than Abortions

I was going to put Seth Moulton in the headline, but I didn’t think anyone knows who he is and wouldn’t click on the article. Truth be told, I had to look him up too. He’s one of the 500 or so anonymous democrats running for president in 2020 and he has some interesting (stupid) ideas on gun rights and unborn baby rights. According to this guy who will drop out of the race soon, guns are much easier to get than abortions and he wants to change that.

Here’s an idiotic thing Moulton tweeted:

First of all, that’s not remotely true. Teenagers can get abortions, even without their parents permission. In fact, convicted felons, drug addicts, crazy people, and illegal aliens can all get abortions no problem. To get an abortion nobody has to pass a background check and there are no restrictions on high-capacity military-style abortions designed for the battlefield not the streets.

To legal purchase a firearm, one must be of legal age (18 for long guns, 21 for handguns), be an approved person, and pass a background check. In many states commonly owned guns are banned and there are additional requirements of permitting and licensing.

Next, gun ownership is an actual Constitutional right, while abortion is not. The 2nd Amendment states very clearly that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Abortion is legal because the Supreme Court made a very bad decision that the right to privacy means killing unborn babies is cool. It should be way easier to get a gun than an abortion, but that’s not the case.

The clear point Moulton is trying to make with this bullshit tweet is that we have absolutely no right to own guns. Well that and that unborn babies have no right to live.

The thing is, Moulton is a former Marine and should know more about guns than an average hysterical anti-gun democrat. He’s also a US Rep. from Massachusetts who took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, so his knowledge on that subject should be more evident.

I was intrigued by this dumb as f*ck Moulton tweet so I checked out his timeline and found another gem:

For real? Trans rights are human rights? So if I’m reading Moulton correctly, he thinks that because a crazy person, born a male, decides that he’s suddenly a woman, this lunatic is entitled to special rights?

Putting that with his other tweet and Moulton’s message is that we don’t have gun ownership rights, but gender benders have a right to shower with little girls. Well that and unborn babies have no right to live.

Moultan’s garbage claim that it’s easier to get gun than an abortion is not original, democrats have been spewing this forever. They also like to say that it’s easier to get guns than cough medicine, library cards, and herpes. Former White House occupier Barack Obama used to like to claim it was harder to get books and vegetables then guns, which made it clear he never shopped for books, vegetables, or guns.

I am assuming Seth Moulton has never tried to legally purchase a firearm or get an abortion, because if he had, he’d know how stupid this tweet is. Then again, he’s a democrat, so he probably knows what an idiotic claim it is and doesn’t care because it pushes his unconstitutional narrative.
