For some reason democrats think that claiming everyone will die is a valid and mature argument for everything. They said repealing the individual mandate of ObamaCare would kill millions. They said repealing net neutrality would kill millions. They said challenging Roe v. Wade would kill millions. They said the GOP tax cuts would kill millions. None of that has happened, but they refuse to come up with a more reasonable argument. Rep. Steve Cohen is saying that if the democrats don’t impeach President Trump that there will be death and mayhem. As a bonus, he thinks someone should knock Trump the f*ck out.
Tennessee Rep. Steve “Fried Chicken” Cohen doesn’t like President Trump so naturally CNN gave him a platform to present his crazy opinions as facts unchallenged. When ask if he thought Trump should be impeached, Cohen reacted like this:
“I think the 2020 elections will rid us of him, but I think he is a present danger and that if we don’t do something to assure — and I think impeachment proceedings will help see that he is beaten but that’s not the reason to do it,” Cohen said.
If you we paying attention, Cohen just let the impeachment cat out of the bag, admitting that it’s all about derailing Trump’s presidency and nothing more. Just in case some people, though not the ones at CNN, might find it a little disconcerting that a US Rep. is actively trying to undo the will of the American people, Cohen threw this insane thing in the mix:
“I think we have a moral imperative to bring those charges in the House and stand up and do its responsibility, even if the Senate won’t. I think we will see blood on our hands. I think we’ll see soldiers dying because this man will find a way to wag the dog, get us into a war to improve his standings and to make him feel like a man and not just a guy from the upper side of Manhattan sent to a military school upstate because he was a bad young man,” said Cohen.
As you can see, the democrats have to impeach Trump or there will be bloody wars, death, and carnage. According to Cohen, democrats are heroes if they impeach the President of the United States for non-existent crimes.
Cohen was busy Wednesday night and went on another CNN show to say that someone needs to punch Donald Trump in the face. He explained to Don Lemon that he feels Trump’s mental health is in question:
“He’s so wacko. Last week, it was go to Mars and forget the Moon. A month ago, it was go to the Moon. He ought to go to the moon. Ralph Kramden ought to send him and not Audrey Meadows,” Cohen said.
For those of you too young to get the reference, there used to be a TV show called The Honeymooners in which the husband frequently threatened the wife with a punch to the face that would send her to the moon. Back then domestic violence was hilarious.
With that context, Cohen is saying that someone should punch Trump’s lights out. Has anybody else noticed how it is now acceptable for democrats to threaten the POTUS with violence? I guarantee if a Republican had said something like this about Obama there would have been widespread outrage.
Steve Cohen showed up to a House hearing and ate a bucket of fried chicken, says if they don’t impeach Trump millions will die, and wants someone to punch the President. And yet he accuses Donald Trump of being a whacko? “Insanity” is just another word that democrats have an alternate definition for.
