Friday Morning Breakfast For The Brain

Thank God It’s Friday!

Brute Force of Censorship

By Ben Garrison

One of the things discussed during the 2019 Bilderberg meeting was “The Weaponization of Social Media.” We don’t know what was said about this exactly, but I assume they dealt with the fact that independent voices on such media were garnering a lot of views—especially by Trump supporters.

The globalist’s pick, Hillary, was supposed to win. It was in the bag. It was rigged. A foregone conclusion. The corporate media was supposed to brainwash us all into accepting her historic return to the White House, this time as Madame President. It didn’t happen. They can’t stand that. Hence the need to clamp down on those spreading ideas contrary to their plans.

Right after the meeting a spate of conservative commentators on YouTube were demonetized. They had already kicked off some of the big names. The biggest name was Alex Jones. YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and others erased him. Hillary must have been cackling in glee upon exacting her revenge. Yet even that wasn’t enough. They corporate media reported and repeated a vicious lie that Alex Jones had been sending child porn to families who were victims of Sandy Hook.

This indicates a ramping-up of the globalists’ game plan. They own and control social media and the corporate mockingbird media. They will use the brute force of blatant lies, thus instilling fear in order to silence whistleblowers and truth tellers. If that doesn’t work, they will go after employers. Some banks will close accounts of customers with whom they disagree. No more PayPal. Nor more ability to transact business. We have already lost too much of our freedom. Oh sure, the Bill of Rights is still there, but it’s being ignored. The 4th Amendment, for example. They’re working on compromising the 1st and 2nd Amendments, too. I hope Alex Jones can sue those who didn’t immediately retract the outrageous libel.

We must use our justice system to fight back. If that has also been compromised, we must stop participating in our own captivity. A non-violent, Gandhi-like approach might be needed.

The Democrats’ Presidential Field and Communism

Via The American Thinker

n American politics we have many contenders for the Democrat Presidential nomination using deceptive rubrics such as Democratic Socialism, Green New Deal, Black Lives Matter (remember Stokely Carmichael in the sixties with the clenched fist “power to the people”?), progressivism, and even liberalism in a way wholly different from classical liberalism. Bernie Sanders self-labels as a Democratic Socialist, but has participated in the Democratic caucus in the Senate, and is now a leading contender for the Democrat Party nomination for President. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez self-labels as a Socialist but was elected to Congress as a Democrat. Just as these socialists are comfortable working in Washington DC as Democrats, we see that communists are comfortable with referring to themselves as socialists.

An entire section of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) website is entitled “Bill of Rights [of] Socialism.” If socialists can be Democrats, and communists can be socialists, then we can entertain the possibility some or many of the Democrats and socialists are communists.

Further, has any reporter asked them, “Are you a communist? And if not, how do your views differ from those of communism?” They do not ask these questions because the questions themselves would be seen as a form of disparagement.

Why are horns growing on young people’s skulls? Phone use is to blame, research suggests

Via The San Jose Mercury News

Mobile technology has transformed the way we live – how we read, work, communicate, shop and date. But we already know this.

What we have not yet grasped is the way the tiny machines in front of us are remolding our skeletons, possibly altering not just the behaviors we exhibit but the bodies we inhabit.

New research in biomechanics suggests that young people are developing hornlike spikes at the back of their skulls – bone spurs caused by the forward tilt of the head, which shifts weight from the spine to the muscles at the back of the head, causing bone growth in the connecting tendons and ligaments. The weight transfer that causes the buildup can be compared to the way the skin thickens into a callus as a response to pressure or abrasion.

The result is a hook or hornlike feature jutting out from the skull, just above the neck.

In academic papers, a pair of researchers at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, argues that the prevalence of the bone growth in younger adults points to shifting body posture brought about by the use of modern technology. They say smartphones and other handheld devices are contorting the human form, requiring users to bend their heads forward to make sense of what’s happening on the miniature screens.

The researchers said their discovery marks the first documentation of a physiological or skeletal adaptation to the penetration of advanced technology into everyday life.

Homeless Crisis Boils Over In Los Angeles, Residents Call For Mayor To Step Down

Via The Daily Caller

The homeless crisis in Los Angeles is getting worse, and residents are calling for Democratic Mayor Eric Garcetti to resign for his “failed leadership.”

Skid Row, an area in downtown LA, now hosts the largest unsheltered population in the country. Homelessness numbers in LA county have risen by 12% from 2018 to 2019 with an estimated increase of 58,936 people, most of whom are living in cars, tents or makeshift shelters, NBC4 News LA reports.

Alexandra Datig, leader of the Garcetti recall effort, says part of the issue is the mayor’s “failed leadership.”

Ocasio-Cortez Gets Head Stuck In Bucket, Journalists Rush To Explain Why It Was Actually A Genius Move

Via The Babylon Bee (Satire)

D.C.—On Wednesday, New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez somehow got her head stuck inside a bucket. She was heard yelling, “Who turned out the lights?” while repeatedly running full speed into walls. Republicans immediately pounced, using this as proof that Ocasio-Cortez is “kind of a dummy.” Many journalists, on the other hand, leaped to Ocasio-Cortez’s defense, saying her getting her head firmly wedged inside of a plastic bucket was further proof of her being an intelligent and dynamic politician.

“Most people don’t have her scientific curiosity and intelligence,” said MSNBC pundit Chris Hayes. “Someone incurious like Trump would never look at a bucket and ask ‘Could my head fit inside that?’ But Ocasio-Cortez dives into such questions head first.”

“She is making a bold statement,” said CNN’s Chris Cuomo. “The bucket on her head is from Walmart, and she is saying loud and clear that corporations have blinded us all.”

Many activists also defended Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter, though they seemed confused about exactly how to defend her, some talking about how buckets are important to society and others calling for the destruction of all buckets.

As for Ocasio-Cortez, she is doubling down and refusing to apologize, even though the incident caused a huge delay for the Capitol janitorial staff.
