Joy Behar Wants To Know Why The ACLU Doesn’t Charge Trump With A Hate Speech Crime

Last night at a President Trump rally the crowd started chanting “Send her back” in regards to anti-Semitic America-hater Ilhan Omar. The most puzzling thing about this for The View’s Jot Behar is, why doesn’t the ACLU bring Trump up hate speech charges? With this level of idiocy, I’d say a bigger mystery is, why doesn’t Behar have her own primetime show on CNN?

President Trump sent out some tweets that basically told Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar if she doesn’t like America she should go back to Somalia. Liberals flipped out on this, like they do with every Trump tweet, and called it the most racist thing ever. Democrats in the House even passed a resolution declaring Trump a racist. Last night at Trump’s rally in North Carolina, the crowd started chanting “send her back” when the President mentioned Omar’s name.

Today on the View, the chickens were squawking about this latest manufactured outrage.

“[Trump] doesn’t acknowledge what he’s doing is possibly inviting violence towards these women and women who are saying ‘this is wrong, I don’t like this.’ This involves every female in this country,” said Whoopi Goldberg.

It’s not a bad start that Whoopi said that Trump telling an America-hater that she’s free to leave is an invitation of violence against everyone woman in the country, but Joy Behar had a way dumber take.

“Why can’t he brought up on charges of hate speech? Why can’t he be sued by the ACLU for hate speech?” Behar demanded to know.

There’s nothing right about what she just said and here’s a small list of the wrongs:

1. Hate speech is not a crime in the United States as we have this thing call free speech.

2. It was the crowd chanting “send her back” not Trump, so even if he could be brought up on charges of hate speech, it wouldn’t apply since it wasn’t his speech.

3. The ACLU is a private organization, not a law enforcement agency, so they don’t bring people up on charges of any kind.

4. Suing is different than charging someone with a crime and shouldn’t be used synonymously.

5. As bad as they suck, the ACLU doesn’t sue to silence free speech, they take legal action to protect it.

6. Sitting Presidents can’t be brought up on charges, especially for imaginary crimes. If they could, the democrats would have charged Trump with dozens of fictitious crimes by now.

Behar’s actual question was: “Why doesn’t an organization with no authority arrest someone with executive immunity for the legal actions of other people?”

I had a professor in college who told us the there were no stupid questions. Boy was he wrong. I’ve never heard a question as dumb as the one Behar just asked.

Also, who is shocked that liberals want speech they disagree with to be criminalized? And really, this goes back to what Trump was saying in the first place. Ilhan Omar hates this country and everything it stands for, which makes her an average liberal. They are disgusted by our history and heritage, but also can’t stand the rights and freedoms we have.

Behar hates the right of free speech which is the same thing as hating America since it’s one of the founding principals this country was built upon. She should also understand that if free speech is going to be regulated, they’re going to start with banning morons from expressing their uninformed hysterical opinions on TV talkshows.
