How a Trivial Dispute Between Two anti-Trump Democrats in a Publix Express Lane Became the Latest Racial Hate Hoax

Via American Greatness

The latest “hate crime” supposedly inspired by President Trump’s allegedly “racist” rhetoric appears to be nothing more than an example of two anti-Trump Democrats behaving badly in public.

Erica Thomas, a Georgia Democrat claimed on Friday that a “white man” in a supermarket check-out line called her a “lazy son-of-a-b*tch” and told her to “go back where you came from.”

Thomas, who is nine months pregnant, tearfully made the claim outside of an Atlanta-area Publix store after the man cursed at her for taking too many items into a supermarket express lane.

“And this white man comes up to me and says: ‘You lazy son of a b*tch,”’ Thomas said, sobbing as she described the confrontation in a video. “He says: ‘You lazy son of a bitch; you need to go back where you came from.”’

The “white man” in question is Cuban-American Eric Sparkes, a fellow Democrat who admitted that that he cursed at Thomas for taking too many items into the express line, but denied telling her to “go back where you came from.”

Sparkes showed up during a press conference with Thomas on Saturday outside the store where the incident allegedly occurred. He explained that “this woman” was in the express lane at Publix with about 20 items when two other lanes were completely open. He said he used one of those lanes to pay for his three items and went to talk to a customer service associate about Thomas’ improper behavior because it “frustrated” him. Sparkes said a Publix employee told him that employees are not supposed to confront customers who abuse the express lane, but fellow customers are allowed to. So he decided to go talk to her.

“I thought about it for a second — I almost walked out,” Sparkes told the assembled media, noting that he had no idea at the time that Thomas was a state legislator.

Pelosi Can’t Disown Her Political Progeny

Via American Greatness

One is an ungrateful refugee from a war-torn African nation who consistently demeans the country that saved her and her family. Another is a foul-mouthed historical illiterate who called the president a “motherf—er” and vowed to impeach him the very night she was sworn in as a new congresswoman. Yet another is a camera-hungry drama queen who injects gender, race, and nationality into every political debate because she can’t win on the merits of her argument. And one represents a congressional seat once held by John F. Kennedy and, on the night of her primary victory, called the president a “racist, misogynistic, truly empathy-bankrupt man.”

Their shared ideology is rooted in racial score-settling: As the squad tells it, white men are villains and captors, and white supremacists lurk in every corner of America. The plight of illegal immigrants is more important than the plight of working-class citizens in the Midwest. And the United States is a menace to the world. Earlier this week, Omar mocked the notion of “America the Great” and confessed she is “ashamed of . . . continuing to live in [America’s] hypocrisy.”

While their political tactics involve in-your-face protest, insults and intimidation, as “persons of color,” the squad is not to be challenged or questioned; anyone who dares to criticize them immediately is branded a racist, a sexist, or both. While they act tough, in reality, it is just that—an act. They are melodramatic attention-seekers who can pivot from raging to crying within seconds. It’s like the Minority Mean Girls Go to Washington.

“The Girls Were Just So Young”: The Horrors Of Epstein’s Private Island

Via Vanity Fair

Locals say Epstein was flying in underage girls long after his conviction for sex crimes—and authorities did nothing to stop him. “It was like he was flaunting it,” says an employee at the airstrip on St. Thomas. “But it was said that he always tipped really well, so everyone overlooked it.”

Two employees who worked at the local airstrip on St. Thomas tell Vanity Fair that they witnessed Epstein boarding his private plane on multiple occasions in the company of girls who appeared to be under the age of consent. According to the employees, the girls arrived with Epstein aboard one of his two Gulfstream jets. Between January 2018 and June 2019, previously published flight records show, the jets were airborne at least one out of every three days. They stopped all over the world, sometimes for only a few hours at a time: Paris, London, Slovakia, Mexico, Morocco. When they left St. Thomas, the employees say, they returned to airports near Epstein’s homes in Palm Beach and New York City.

“On multiple occasions I saw Epstein exit his helicopter, stand on the tarmac in full view of my tower, and board his private jet with children—female children,” says a former air traffic controller at the airstrip who asked to remain anonymous. “One incident in particular really stands out in my mind, because the girls were just so young. They couldn’t have been over 16. Epstein looked very angry and hurled his jacket at one of them. They were also carrying shopping bags from stores not on the island. I remember thinking, ‘Where in the world have they been shopping?’”

“I could see him with my own eyes,” the employee says. “I compared it to seeing a serial killer in broad daylight. I called it the face of evil.”

Ilhan Omar Marriage Flummoxes Media Fact-Checkers

Via The Washington Free Beacon

Media outlets scrambled to prove false the accusation that Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) married her brother after President Donald Trump mentioned it, but none have been able to definitively reach an answer, largely due to Omar’s unwillingness to provide information.

Trump was asked about the accusation that Omar’s husband, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, was also her brother during a scrum with reporters last Wednesday and said he had heard talk that she married her brother but knew “nothing about it.”

National media had largely kept away from judging the merits of the accusation that she was related to her second husband, which have circulated since her entry into politics in 2016, but after Trump’s comment many came to quick conclusions. CNN’s Jim Acosta jumped in immediately to criticize Trump for diving in on “disgusting lies.” The Daily Beast‘s Will Sommer published a lengthy piece on Friday that did little to nothing to debunk what he calls a “baseless smear.”

The closest thing to evidence against the claim presented in Sommer’s piece is a reference to a time Omar showed a Star Tribune reporter pictures on her cell phone of immigration documents with a list of members of her family. Sommer’s piece fails to mention that Omar declined to provide copies of any of the documents to the reporter or allow him to make record of the information he was briefly allowed to view.

Omar didn’t respond to requests for comment from the Daily Beast. Her congressional office currently is alerting reporters through auto-reply that it’s not responding to press inquiries, including one from the Free Beacon, into whether any other outlets have been shown documents Omar purports to be evidence against the claim she married her brother.

California Launches Creepy “Cradle-To-Career” Data System To Track Everything About Children

Via Zero Hedge

Just in case we haven’t provided you with enough creepy dystopian news lately, the nation’s leader in Creepy Dystopia, California, has a brand new program. The “Cradle to Career Data System” will study and document everything about a child born in the state.

Beginning at birth and stalking the child until he or she joins the workforce, California wants to keep on eye on all sorts of demographics and variables. They’ll do this by collecting information from “partner entities.” They’ll use this information, according to the Pasadena Star, to “provide appropriate interventions and supports to address disparities in opportunities and improve outcomes for all students.”

Who are these partner entities, you ask?

The “partner entities” include (but are not limited to) “state entities responsible for elementary and secondary education data, entities responsible for early learning data, segments of public higher education, private colleges and universities, state entities responsible for student financial aid, childcare providers, state labor and workforce development agencies, and state departments administering health and human services programs.” (source)

So, your kid’s teachers, principles, professors, babysitters, and the purveyors of any state services you happen to use will all cough up every detail of your child’s life.
