When a couple of leftists went on shooting sprees in El Paso and Dayton, democrats blamed President Trump’s “anti-immigrant” rhetoric, which is as dumb as it sounds. Does this mean we can blame the democrats’ anti-ICE rhetoric for a pair of attacks on ICE facilities Tuesday? Unfortunately no. See, democrats are total hypocrites so none of their absurd rules apply to themselves. If anything, democrats will say Trump is also responsible for leftists attacking ICE because that’s how being full of shit works.
KABB reports that two buildings housing ICE offices in San Antonio, TX were struck by gunfire overnight:
FBI agents are searching for suspects in connection with shots fired at two ICE buildings early Tuesday morning.
The shooting first reported took place around 3 a.m. Tuesday on the 1700 block of NE Loop 410 near Brookhaven Drive. We’re told another shooting happened at a separate ICE facility around the same time.
Investigators say that multiple shots were fired on two floors targeting ICE officials. No one was hit, but windows were broken in the building. One person was injured, it’s not clear how they were, though.
FBI Special Agent in Charge Chris Combs is certain this wasn’t a random attack:
“All of the shots that we have found are on the floors where ICE had offices. This is no question a very targeted attack. It’s not a secret facility, you can go online, it’s out there. So they did some research, they knew what floors ICE was on, they knew what buildings they were and and they hit those,” said Combs.
These shootings of course follow other recent attacks on ICE facilities. In July leftists stormed an ICE facility in Colorado, tearing down the American flag and replacing it with a Mexican flag. Also in July an Antifa terrorist was killed trying to firebomb an ICE detention center in Washington state. 4 attacks in the span of a month sounds less like a coincidence and more like a coordinated effort.
But who is to blame? Well, ICE ERO San Antonio Field Office Director Daniel Bible has some thoughts:
“Political rhetoric and misinformation that various politicians, media outlets and activist groups recklessly disseminate to the American people regarding the ICE mission only serve to further encourage these violent acts. ICE officers put their lives on the line each and every day to keep our communities safe. This disturbing public discourse shrouds our critical law enforcement function and unnecessarily puts our officers’ safety at risk,” said Bible.
He’s got a point. Most of the democrats running in 2020 have demonized immigration enforcement and called for the abolition of ICE. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her squad of progressive idiots not only scream “abolish ICE” but also liken them to the Nazis. When politicians and their liberal media propaganda machine are constantly accusing ICE of dehumanizing and killing immigrants, eventually leftist kooks are going to act. And that eventuality is now.
Police and the FBI are looking at security footage but don’t yet have a suspect. I think I can help them out with my amateur profiling skills: The person they are looking for has poor hygiene habits, wears a black hoodie, follows AOC on Twitter, hates America and thinks we need to do something about private gun ownership. Hopefully that narrows it down a bit.
