Beto O’Rourke Campaigns At Gun Show, Compares AR-15s To Insulin For Some Reason

Earlier in the week Beto O’Rourke reset his presidential bid once again, this time with a promise to only campaign in places where he is unlikely to gain any support. True to his word, the slacker doofus stopped off at an Arkansas gun show to tell people why they shouldn’t be allowed to attend a gun show. Adding to his mystique, he also made a bizarre comparison between guns and insulin. Amazingly enough, this campaign stop did nothing to improve his sad polling numbers.

This is a story so important that literally no news organization published or broadcast anything about it. Luckily ABC was willing to send a couple of tweets or we’d have never known it happened.

That doesn’t look like he’s speaking with anyone on any subject. He appears to be walking in between a couple, who are clearly annoyed by his rudeness.

This next one is better:

Gee, why couldn’t the ABC reporter get a picture of this guy? Could it be that he doesn’t exist? Seriously. A Trump voter and owner of “assault weapons” thinks that Beto’s gun control plan to ban and confiscate semi-automatic rifles is great idea? Bullshit.

And speaking of unlikely:

“2nd Amendment supporter and gun dealer begs democrat for gun control regulations to put him out of business,” claims liberal media reporter with no video to back it up.

Where are all of the action shots of gun owners explaining the Constitution to O’Rourke? Where are the middler finger pix?

As far as I can tell, O’Rourke managed to find 4 people willing to talk to him and not a single one would ever vote for him. What a brilliant campaign strategy this was. Where’s he going next? To a pro-life rally to tell people how killing babies saves lives?

So what exactly did O’Rourke learn from “slumming it” with freedom-loving gun owners? Well, this…

This is dumb on so many levels, I’m not sure where to begin. I guess the best place to start is by pointing out that guns and insulin are neither similar nor opposite so they can’t logically be compared. This is sort of like framing an abortion argument with a comparison between killing babies and Ford F-150 trucks.

While there is a Constitutional amendment protecting the right to keep and bear arms, no amendment exists guaranteeing discount insulin. Even if there were, concealed carry permits cost more than voting, which is free. Not all rights have to have the same price tag.

Also, I’m certain that more people die each year from insulin misuse than they do from AR-15 misuse.

I’m not quite sure what O’Rourke was getting at with this tweet. Does he think insulin should be cheaper or AR-15s more expensive? There are pricier models, BTW. Does he think that AR-15’s should be covered by health insurance, because I would actually support that.

Do you know why Republicans never campaign at black churches or NAACP meetings? It’s because those things are a waste of time. Blacks are going to vote for democrats no matter what, so why bother?

Beto O’Rourke campaigning at a gun show in a non-early primary state is his way of saying he can run a shittier campaign than Hillary Clinton. At least he’s right about that becuase he’s wrong on everything else.
