Questions Nobody Is Asking About Jeffrey Epstein

Via The Unz Review

I’m an expert in the field of “game theory”, strategic thinking. What would I do if I were Epstein? I’d try to get the President, the Attorney-General, or the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York to shut down the investigation before it went public. I’d have all my friends and all my money try to pressure them. If it failed and I were arrested, it would be time for the backup plan— the Deal. I’d try to minimize my prison time, and, just as important, to be put in one of the nicer federal prisons where I could associate with financial wizards and drug lords instead of serial killers, black nationalists, and people with bad breath.

That’s what Epstein would do. What about the powerful people Epstein would turn in to get his deal? They aren’t as smart as Epstein, but they would know the Deal was coming— that Epstein would be quite happy to sacrifice them in exchange for a prison with a slightly better golf course. What could they do? There’s only one good option— to kill Epstein, and do it quickly, before he could start giving information samples to the U. S. Attorney.

9/11 & The Road To America’s Orwellian Hell

Via Zero Hedge

Next week will be the 18th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Politicians and bureaucrats wasted no time after that carnage to unleash the Surveillance State on average Americans, treating every person like a terrorist suspect. Since the government failed to protect the public, Americans somehow forfeited their constitutional right to privacy. Despite heroic efforts by former NSA staffer Edward Snowden and a host of activists and freedom fighters, the government continues ravaging American privacy.

Two of the largest leaps towards “1984” began in 2002. Though neither the Justice Department’s Operation TIPS nor the Pentagon’s Total Information Awareness program was brought to completion, parcels and precedents from each program have profoundly influenced subsequent federal policies.

In July 2002, the Justice Department unveiled plans for Operation TIPS — the Terrorism Information and Prevention System. According to the Justice Department website, TIPS would be “a nationwide program giving millions of American truckers, letter carriers, train conductors, ship captains, utility employees, and others a formal way to report suspicious terrorist activity.” TIPSters would be people who, “in the daily course of their work, are in a unique position to serve as extra eyes and ears for law enforcement.” The feds aimed to recruit people in jobs that “make them uniquely well positioned to understand the ordinary course of business in the area they serve, and to identify things that are out of the ordinary.” Homeland Security director Tom Ridge said that observers in certain occupations “might pick up a break in the certain rhythm or pattern of a community.” The feds planned to enlist as many as 10 million people to watch other people’s “rhythms.”

Globalization has found its fortunes radically shifted thanks to President Trump

Via American Greatness

The globalist business model now has been thoroughly questioned and exposed for what it is.

Donald Trump disturbed it, just like he has disturbed about everything else that’s been too comfortable in our assumptions.

For him, the prime beneficiary of globalization—China—is an example of state capitalism, where a gangster, big government run by the dictatorial and corrupt communist party is totalitarian, mercantilist, and surveillance-prone. The Chinese steal intellectual property and force technology transfers, cheating their way to the place they have arrived as a result of globalization.

China most certainly is not a free trader. It games the system and it has played the rest of us, like a violin, for more than three decades.

No longer.

This may be the major inflection point in modern American history. Trump has taken on China and the globalists and is turning back the past 35 years.

The deindustrialization of the American heartland, thanks to globalization and the outsourcing of many millions of American jobs is over.

The widely respected chief international economist of Morgan Stanley recently put forward a “tentative thesis” that 2013 might prove analogous in some respects to 1913 when the last wave of globalization ended.

He pointed to the rush of liquidity into emerging markets (fuelled by Western monetary policies after the 2008 financial crisis)—a trend that is now clearly reversing—and the recently growing evidence that many Western companies are repatriating parts of their production processes.

This is a big deal—a very big deal!

What we are witnessing with President Trump at the helm of an America First paradigm, is nothing short of the reversal of globalization.

From mind control to murder? How a deadly fall revealed the CIA’s darkest secrets

Via The Guardian

Glass shattered high above Seventh Avenue in Manhattan before dawn on a cold November morning in 1953. Seconds later, a body hit the sidewalk. Jimmy, the doorman at the Statler hotel, was momentarily stunned. Then he turned and ran into the hotel lobby. “We got a jumper!” he shouted. “We got a jumper!”

The night manager peered up through the darkness at his hulking hotel. After a few moments, he picked out a curtain flapping through an open window. It turned out to be room 1018A. Two names were on the registration card: Frank Olson and Robert Lashbrook.

Police officers entered room 1018A with guns drawn. They saw no one. The window was open. They pushed open the door to the bathroom and found Lashbrook sitting on the toilet, head in hands. He had been sleeping, he said, and “I heard a noise and then I woke up.”

“The man that went out the window, what is his name?” one officer asked.

“Olson,” came the reply. “Frank Olson.”

“In all my years in the hotel business,” the night manager later reflected, “I never encountered a case where someone got up in the middle of the night, ran across a dark room in his underwear, avoiding two beds, and dove through a closed window with the shade and curtains drawn.”

Leaving the police officers, the night manager returned to the lobby and, on a hunch, asked the telephone operator if any calls had recently been made from room 1018A. “Yes,” she replied – and she had eavesdropped, not an uncommon practice in an era when hotel phone calls were routed through a switchboard. Someone in the room had called a number on Long Island, which was listed as belonging to Dr Harold Abramson, a distinguished physician, less well known as an LSD expert and one of the CIA’s medical collaborators.

“Well, he’s gone,” the caller had said. Abramson replied: “Well, that’s too bad.”

Swedish Prof Urges ‘Eating Human Flesh — to Save the Climate’

Via PJ Media

Oftentimes, the climate alarmists are their own worst enemy. It sounds reasonable enough that carbon emissions might have an impact on the climate, but it’s a rather nasty thing to prove, especially when alarmist predictions fail, over and over again. It’s far from the “scientific consensus.” But the alarmists don’t tone down their rhetoric — they ratchet it up to 11. They want to take away your plastic straws, your cars, your burgers. Then there’s this behavioral scientist in Sweden who wants us to eat human flesh to deal with the effects of climate change.

No, this isn’t The Onion or The Babylon Bee. This is a Swedish professor appearing on Swedish television advocating for cannibalism, because climate change is just that dire. It can’t be lunacy if it’s done in the name of climate change, can it?

Earlier this week, Magnus Söderlund, professor of marketing and strategy at the Stockholm School of Economics, spoke at the Gastro Summit, a discussion on the future of food in the case of a climatepocalypse, The Epoch Times reported.

Söderlund spoke on the topic, “Can you Imagine Eating Human Flesh?” He argued for breaking down the ancient taboos against desecrating the human corpse and, well, cannibalism. The clip is available on State Swedish Television channel TV4 at this link. The end of the video’s description roughly translates to “the possibility of eating human flesh – to save the climate.” How cannibalism would have any impact on the climate is anyone’s guess, and it seems the professor is more focused on dealing with the aftereffects of climate change, anyway.

Protesters Claim Victory After Blocking Customers From Chick-Fil-A For Entire Sunday

Via The Babylon Bee (Satire)

BUFFALO, NY—Facebook Chick-fil-A protest group Boycott Chick-fil-A claimed victory last Sunday after managing to keep all customers and employees from coming onto the premises of a local Chick-fil-A restaurant for the entire day. “Not one customer all day,” page administrator Byron Vega said in a Facebook post celebrating the victory. “The hate-peddlers are bleeding profits today thanks to your effort. Do you know what happens when giant corporations like Chick-fil-A don’t get a single customer for an entire day? They burn to the ground.”

Asked if the company had felt the loss, Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy responded, “What happened now?”

Boycott Chick-fil-A had already called for another boycott for the following Sunday, this time hoping it will go nationwide. “We proved that when real-life, grassroots protesters gather, they can affect real change. Now we call upon LGBTQIA activists across the nation to join us in a devastating protest next Sunday.”

“When we take away their Sunday profits, we have them right where we want them,” the page admin added triumphantly.
