Left-Wing Minneapolis Mayor, Jacob Frey, Attempts to Block President Trump MAGA Rally…

Via The Conservative Treehouse

President Trump Campaign Manager Brad Parscale is reporting that Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is attempting to block President Trump from speaking at an event in the city on Thursday October 10th. This is beyond outrageous.

[Trump Campaign] The radical leftist mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, is abusing the power of his office and attempting to extort President Trump’s re-election campaign by conjuring a phony and outlandish bill for security in an effort to block a scheduled Keep America Great rally. Democrat Mayor Frey is using the bogus security charges to pressure the Target Center, site of the contracted October 10, 2019 rally, into preventing Minnesota residents from exercising their First Amendment rights in support of President Trump.

Frey’s city government preemptively informed the Target Center that it would be responsible for $530,000 in security and other costs related to the event. The Target Center attempted to pass the costs on to the Trump campaign under threat of withholding the use of the arena.

The Trump campaign informed the Target Center that the U.S. Secret Service is solely responsible for coordinating security and that withholding the use of the arena would be viewed as a breach of contract and result in court action. Additionally, the ridiculous sum of $530,000 is more than 26 times the estimated security costs for a 2009 Target Center health care rally held by President Barack Obama. Police officials estimated that the costs then were around $20,000. Again, the costs are a matter between the city and the Secret Service.

Hunter Biden’s Wild Ukrainian Ride

Via American Greatness

Democrats threw the country into turmoil this week announcing their intention to proceed with the impeachment of President Donald Trump.

They just have a few problems. Chief among them, their narratives keep collapsing. First, there was the “coverup” both of the call with the President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, and of the whistleblower’s report. Then the White House, in an unprecedented step, released the transcript of the call with the Ukrainian president, and the entirety of the whistleblower’s report. And the Acting Director of National Intelligence openly testified before the House Intelligence Committee, explaining that the delay in turnover had been the result of the unprecedented nature of the report—that it may have had executive privilege ramifications—not an effort to delay turnover because of its contents.

Then it came out that Rep. Adam Schiff (D.-Calif.), who made a big public issue of the report from the White House being delayed, had advance notice of the whistleblower’s allegations before they were even filed. Such a consultation by the whistleblower was provided only to the Democrat-led House Intelligence Committee, not its Republican-led Senate counterpart, raising questions about the political motivations of the whistleblower.

Then, finally, there is the issue of Joe Biden, his son Hunter, and Ukraine. This pesky bit of narrative has been swatted away by Democrats as a distraction, but it’s far from anything like that.

Rather, the role of Joe Biden—and particularly that of his son, Hunter Biden, and Devon Archer, a confidant of former Secretary of State John Kerry—goes directly to the allegations that Democrats have levied against the president. If Democrats want their allegations of the misuse of office to be credible, they also need to have a serious problem with Hunter Biden’s uncanny ability to make millions in profits in a place where his father also happened to be making policy as vice president.

Democrats are trying desperately to make this go away, to pretend like it doesn’t matter. But the actions of Hunter Biden—and the complicity of the Washington establishment—go directly to the heart of the question that Democrats are posing to the president.

Democrats allege that President Trump used his position to leverage political benefit, and they want that to be an impeachable crime. But in the same breath, they want to claim it is completely above board for Joe Biden’s children to have used the weight of his office to leverage millions in personal profits.

Now-anti-Trump Drudge Losing Traffic to Anti-establishment Site Whatfinger

Via The New American

Will people soon be saying about ’90s-style news aggregator the Drudge Report, “Get ‘woke,’ go broke”? This is a relevant question now that Drudge has taken the establishment’s side in the latter’s effort to crush anti-establishment patriots, causing it to lose Web traffic to news-aggregator competitor Whatfinger.com, according to a report.

As CD Media writes, “If you haven’t noticed, the Drudge Report has gone off the rails politically, now firmly in the anti-Trump camp, with daily questionable headlines pushing the anti-Trump narrative of the Left.”

As a consequence, “‘Whatfinger’ has roared upon the scene, and is taking millions of readers from Drudge, due to what those Americans in ‘flyover country’ see as a political betrayal,” the site continues. “Analytics report that Whatfinger grabs about 82% of Drudge readers; when they see the alternative, they switch!”

Whatfinger, which prides itself on its “Relentless Pursuit of Creating The Greatest Aggregate Link News Site On Earth,” is an up-and-coming information source not in thrall to the political correctness that so readily infects media.

This isn’t just a matter of anti-Trump commentary, either. Whether you love or hate the president or just don’t give a darn, Drudge has long been doing much to empower establishment sources. As Liberty Nation informed last year:

The Drudge Report is Numero Uno for referring traffic primarily to the rogue’s gallery of narrative-driven left-wing media outlets like CNN, the New York Times, and The Washington Post. As a conservative who’s now well versed in the power and money that traffic gives these outlets, one must ask[:] What’s up with that? Why is such a robust website on the right driving so much traffic to the left? Don’t these legacy properties [that] perform palace guard functions for the establishment already have enough influence and power to get there on their own? Do conservatives need to be giving them a helping hand?

A telling infographic at libertynation.com provides a snapshot of the huge volume of traffic referred by Drudge to establishment news sites — 99 million visits to dailymail.co.uk, 87 million visits to news.yahoo.com, 64 million visits to CNN.com, etc.

Is Trump At Last Ending Our ‘Endless Wars’?

By Patrick J. Buchanan

The backstage struggle between the Bush interventionists and the America-firsters who first backed Donald Trump for president just exploded into open warfare, which could sunder the Republican Party.

At issue is Trump’s decision to let the Turkish army enter Northern Syria, to create a corridor between Syrian Kurds and the Turkish Kurds of the PKK, which the U.S. and Turkey regard as a terrorist organization.

“A disaster in the making,” says Lindsey Graham. “To abandon the Kurds” would be a “stain on America’s honor.”

“A catastrophic mistake,” said Rep. Liz Cheney.

“If reports about US retreat in Syria are accurate,” tweeted Marco Rubio, Trump will have “made a grave mistake.”
“The Kurds were instrumental in our successful fight against ISIS in Syria. Leaving them to die is a big mistake,” said ex-U.N. ambassador Nikki Haley, “we must always have the backs of our allies. ” But of our NATO ally of almost 70 years, Haley said, “Turkey is not our friend.”

Sen. Mitt Romney called it a “betrayal”:

“The President’s decision to abandon our Kurd allies in the face of an assault by Turkey is a betrayal. It says that America is an unreliable ally; it facilitates ISIS resurgence; and it presages another humanitarian disaster.”

Trump tweeted this defense of his order to U.S. forces not to resist Turkish intervention and the creation of a Turkish corridor in Syria from the eastern bank of the Euphrates to Iraq:

“The Kurds fought with us, but were paid massive amounts of money and equipment to do so. They have been fighting Turkey for decades. … I held off this fight for … almost 3 years, but it is time for us to get out of these ridiculous Endless Wars, many of them tribal, and bring our soldiers home.”

When, in December, Trump considered ordering all U.S. troops home from Syria, Defense Secretary James Mattis resigned in protest.
