Leftist Minneapolis Mayor Moves To Force Cancelation Of Trump Rally

The socialist left’s relentless war on speech that they do not approve of has taken aim at President Trump mere days before his planned rally in Minneapolis.

In what will be a huge incursion into enemy territory, the leader of the free world has scheduled to speak to patriotic Americans at the 19,000 + seat Target Center in the heart of Ilhan Omar’s district.

But now in a gesture of contempt for the rights of his own constituents as well as a flagrant attempt at extortion, the far-left socialist mayor of the host city is looking to strongarm the venue’s management company into canceling Trump’s appearance.

This outrageous effort to shut down free speech has been undertaken by radical Jacob Frey who managed to win the mayoral election in Little Somalia Minneapolis by running on socialist ideas and is now flexing his muscles locally.

President Donald Trump’s campaign accused Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey on Monday of trying to block the president’s scheduled political rally in the city.
“This is an outrageous abuse of power by a liberal mayor trying to deny the rights of his own city’s residents just because he hates the President,” Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale said in a statement sent to reporters.

The Trump campaign revealed that Frey was trying to tack on a $530,000 security fee and other costs to the Target Center for the scheduled event on Thursday. The Target Center’s management, AEG Management TWN, tried to pass on the fees to the Trump campaign, threatening to block them from using the arena if they did not pay.

But the campaign threatened to sue the Target Center for a breach in contract, noting that Secret Service was in charge of security.

“This last-minute squeeze seems to be nothing but a pretextual political effort with serious First Amendment ramifications,” a letter read from the Trump campaign’s lawyer to the Target Center’s management firm.

The radical socialist ripped Trump’s plans to visit the city in an official statement last month:

Under ordinary circumstances, it would be an honor to welcome a sitting President of the United States to Minneapolis and to showcase all our city has to offer on the national stage. But these aren’t ordinary circumstances. Since taking office President Trump’s actions have been reprehensible and his rhetoric has made it clear that he does not value the perspectives or rights of Minneapolis’ diverse communities.

On October 10, our entire city will stand not behind the President, but behind the communities and people who continue to make our city – and this country – great. While there is no legal mechanism to prevent the president from visiting, his message of hatred will never be welcome in Minneapolis.

Frey has now taken it to an entirely different level and it is likely only a matter of time until the spineless corporation that manages the Target Center gives in to the mob and its leader.

Trump 2020 campaign director Brad Parscale unloaded on Mayor Frey’s trickery and blasted the slimy socialist for depriving pro-Americans in the Land Of 10,000 Lakes of an opportunity to hear the president deliver his message.

President Trump wasted no time in training his lethal Twitter account on Frey who he blasted for the ove as well as praised the local police who are hated by Omar and her ilk.

Frey and the Democrats, in general, are risking a major backlash if he succeeds in bullying the arena into capitulating and turning away the POTUS and there could be hell to pay statewide next year.
