IT’S OVER BETO! Even CNN Treats Dopey Man-Child Like An Idiot

DUDE!

The sun is beginning to set on the bizarre political career of Robert Francis O’Rourke, the loopy Texan who is more commonly known by his phony Latino nickname of Beto.

For a very brief time, the loopy man-child who surfed upon a tidal wave of out of state money to nearly pull the upset over Republican Senator Ted Cruz last year was seen as a presidential contender.

But a funny thing happened on the way to the nomination. The more that people saw of Beto, the less “Kennedyesque” he became as his quirky mannerisms, stoner demeanor and immaturity sent him plunging to the low single digits among 2020 Democrats.

Just when it looked like O’Rourke would have to consider packing up his dismal campaign, he had the miraculous streak of good fortune to have a mass shooting occurred at a Walmart in his congressional district.

Suddenly, he was everywhere as the talking heads on CNN and other cable news shows caught a dose of Betomania as the 47-year-old spewed his anti-Second Amendment rhetoric.

But then at some point, top Democrats began to realize that Beto’s wild calls for fascistic gun control measures were fragging his own troops and now that he has called for full-blown gun confiscation, he is suddenly facing criticism from his own allies.

And boy oh boy, did Beto ever get roasted on CNN where the normally-friendly New Day anchor Alisyn Camerota put him on the spot over exactly how he would accomplish his proposed gun grab.

Beto’s reaction to being told that mass shooters would not follow the law is EPIC.

Via Mediaite, “CNN’s Camerota Grills Beto on Gun Buyback Proposal: ‘You Expect Mass Shooters to Follow the Law?’”:

Former Texas Congressman Beto O’Rourke faced questions about his mandatory weapons buyback proposal when he gave a post-debate interview to CNN on Wednesday.

During the Ohio presidential debate, O’Rourke drew attention from the moment where he and Pete Buttigieg clashed on whether the buyback proposal is a feasible solution to gun violence in America. In a follow-up conversation with Alisyn Camerota, O’Rourke was asked “How do you plan to get assault weapons away from people who don’t want to give them up?”

“As with any law in this country, we would expect our fellow Americans to follow the law,” he answered. “We’re a nation of laws and no person is above the law. No matter how much they may disagree with a given law…This is the right thing to do. And I fully expect my fellow Americans to follow the law.”

“You expect mass shooters to follow the law?” Camerota responded. “Congressman, mass shooters by definition…they don’t follow the law.”

It was a rare occasion when CNN has actually put one of the circus freak Dem candidates on the spot so Camerota deserves credit here for calling Beto on his B.S. but he should have known better than to mix it up with Mayor Pete who has cuckolded him with the media.

It’s only a matter of time until the Dems say hasta la vista to Beto.
