Bernie Leads His Party to Open Borders

Some 100 members of an American Mormon community in northern Mexico, nine of whom — women, children, toddlers — were massacred a week ago on a lonely stretch of highway, just crossed over into Arizona.

Other family members who have lived there for decades will follow.

The atrocity was the work of one of the cartels battling for control of the drug traffic into the United States.

With cartel battles escalating into a war that Mexico City has no stomach for fighting, and a record number of migrants from Central America crossing Mexico to flood into the USA, what is the Democratic Party’s policy for halting the rising tide?

Democrats are moving toward an “open door” policy on the U.S. border, an open borders embrace of any and all who wish to come.

America, apparently, does not belong to those who live here and love the country. America belongs to anyone who chooses to come. America belongs to the world.

Consider Bernie Sanders’ immigration proposal, outlined the week of the massacre of Mormon women and children.

On Day One, President Sanders would declare a moratorium on deportations and offer a “swift pathway to citizenship” for all illegal migrants who have been here for five years.

Bernie would break up ICE. Border-jumping would cease to be a crime and become a civil offense like jaywalking. The “Muslim ban” would be abolished.

President Sanders would back sanctuary cities that refuse to work with U.S. law enforcement. Asylum seekers would not have to wait in Mexico as their claims were processed but would be welcomed into the USA.

Family separations would end. Trump’s wall, which Bernie calls “racist,” would be history. The administration’s treatment of illegal immigration “as a criminal and national security matter is inhuman, impractical and must end.”

Migrants who enter illegally would qualify for federal health care and the same social welfare benefits as U.S. citizens. Immigrant officials say Sanders’ proposals would create an irresistible magnet for millions of migrants from all over the world to stampede into the USA.

Young Americans’ Date with Socialism

Universities in America have finally accomplished convincing young adults to abandon the most successful and free form of government in favor of a system that has a historical failure rate of 100%.

It is a sobering reminder of how successful the propaganda of the leftist media and higher education system has been when one realizes that socialism is viewed by nearly half of the millions of young Americans as a sociable way of life — a better way of life where they feel people work together for the good of everyone, where the wealth generated by the sweat of the worker is not accumulated into the bank accounts of a small group of the mega-wealthy.

The Democrat candidates for president continually talk about getting the wealthy to pay their fair share to make public college free and to offer free health care for everyone. Socialism, they say, is the sensitive political system, whereas capitalism is ruthless and runs on greed and profits, where the poor worker sleeps on the streets outside the mansions of the factory-owners.

In the end, Millennials need to ask themselves what the point of it all is regarding choosing socialism. Is receiving free health care and free education worth the loss of freedom, never getting the chance to keep what they will later earn or be crushed by an ever-increasing tax burden? At the end of the day, those who will be holding the bag for all of the freebies will not be the mega-wealthy or the political elite. It will be the shrinking middle class, whom today’s Millennials will soon be part of. And perhaps the most sobering fact of how socialism ultimately fails is the reality that sooner or later, the money runs out, as it did in Cuba, the Soviet Union, and most recently in Venezuela. What happens when the inevitable time comes, when Millennials are no longer treated as a select group by the liberal and leftist elites? When living with astronomically high taxes, rationed allowances, and stifling government regulations becomes excessive, will the leftist leaders show any mercy or sympathy?

Democrats have a Colonel Vindman problem

House Democrats conducted their impeachment interviews in secret, but Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman still emerged as star of the show. Appearing at his Oct. 29 deposition in full dress uniform, the decorated Army officer, now a White House National Security Council Ukraine expert, was the first witness who had actually listened to the phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that is at the heart of the Democratic impeachment campaign. Even though lawmakers were forbidden to discuss his testimony in public, Vindman’s leaked opening statement that “I did not think it was proper [for Trump] to demand that a foreign government investigate a U.S. citizen” exploded on news reports.

Vindman has not yet been scheduled to appear before the Democrats’ public impeachment hearings. When that happens, he will undoubtedly again play a prominent role. But there will be a difference. The public now has a transcript of Vindman’s deposition. And those who have taken the trouble to read the 340-page document will have a different picture of Vindman’s testimony than the one presented in early media reports.

Yes, Vindman testified repeatedly that he “thought it was wrong” for Trump, speaking with Zelensky, to bring up the 2016 election and allegations of Ukraine-related corruption on the part of former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. But the Vindman transcript also showed a witness whose testimony was filled with opinion, with impressions, who had little new to offer, who withheld important information from the committee, who was steeped in a bureaucracy that has often been hostile to the president, and whose lawyer, presumably with Vindman’s approval, expressed unmistakable disdain, verging on contempt, for members of Congress who asked inconvenient questions. In short, Vindman’s testimony was not the slam-dunk hit Democrats portrayed it to be. And that raises questions about how it will play when Vindman goes before the world in a public impeachment hearing.

Politically Incorrect Hockey Legend Don Cherry Gets Lifetime Penalty for Immigrant Comments

Hockey legend Don Cherry just went into the penalty box for life. You might say he was whistled for “slashing” political correctness. The seventh-greatest Canadian who ever lived will never grace television airwaves in his homeland again, all because he urged immigrants to support Remembrance Day (Canada’s version of Veterans Day) by purchasing poppies. The former hockey player and NHL coach was fired Monday from his role as a commentator for Sportsnet’s Hockey Night in Canada broadcasts.

In a two-paragraph statement Monday afternoon, Sportsnet president Bart Yabsley said:

“Sports brings people together — it unites us, not divides us. Following further discussions with Don Cherry (at right in photo with Ron MacLean) after Saturday night’s broadcast, it has been decided it is the right time for him to immediately step down.

“During the broadcast, he made divisive remarks that do not represent our values or what we stand for.”

The Canadian Broadcast Corporation also commented, stating: “Don Cherry’s remarks on Saturday night were divisive, discriminatory and offensive, and we respect Sportsnet’s decision that this is the right time for Don to step down.”

Gregory Strong, of The Canadian Press, writes, “Brash, outspoken, opinionated — longtime hockey broadcaster Don Cherry was never afraid to ruffle feathers during his Coach’s Corner segment on Hockey Night in Canada. This latest outburst cost him his job.”

Just what did Cherry, 85, actually say Saturday night that was so inflammatory and so hurtful to immigrants and liberal snowflakes?:

“I live in Mississauga [Ontario]. Very few people wear the poppy. Downtown Toronto, forget it. Nobody wears the poppy. … Now you go to the small cities. You people … that come here, whatever it is — you love our way of life. You love our milk and honey. At least you can pay a couple bucks for a poppy or something like that. These guys paid for your way of life that you enjoy in Canada. These guys paid the biggest price for that.”

The PC backlash was immediate and furious.

Most Americans oppose transgender athletes in women’s sports, poll finds

Transgender athletes have drawn headlines in recent years for their victories in women’s sports, but most Americans aren’t fans.

A Rasmussen Reports poll released Friday found that 51% of U.S. adults surveyed opposed allowing athletes compete on the basis of their gender identity, including biological males who participate in women’s and girls’ sports.

Only 29% supported “allowing transgender students to participate on the sports teams of the gender they identify with,” while 20% were undecided, the survey said.

The results of the poll, taken Oct. 31-Nov. 2, were virtually identical to a Rasmussen survey released in June, which found only 28% favored allowing transgender students “to participate on the sports team of the gender they identify with,” while 54% were opposed.

Man says he found half-smoked joint in Popeye’s sandwich

This wasn’t the kind of roach you might expect at a fast-food joint.

Alphabet City resident Jeremy Merdinger was appalled when half a doobie fell out of his Popeye’s chicken sandwich last week. And he’s crying fowl, saying the chicken chain hasn’t even apologized for the funky-smelling sandwich invader.

“I was shocked at first,” Merdinger, 23, tells The Post of the foreign object in his food. “These are things you see on social media a couple of times a year, and for it to happen to me, I was shocked and disgusted.”

Merdinger went to the West 14th Street location on Nov. 4 and picked up a spicy and a regular chicken sandwich to enjoy back at his apartment.

Nation Approves Plan To Push Hollywood Into Pacific Ocean

WASHINGTON, D.C.—A new law passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump Thursday approves a plan to push Hollywood into the Pacific Ocean, sources in Washington are reporting.

The new law calls for federal officials to build or acquire a giant hand saw and make a rough incision along the outside of the central district of Los Angeles, leaving a large enough buffer so as to be sure that none of Hollywood would remain, allowing the scandal-ridden Tinseltown and its occupants to simply drift out to sea.

The plan comes amidst a continuous string of sexual scandals and horrific crimes that have come to light, perpetrated by some of the biggest Hollywood stars.

“For the well-being of all Americans, we’re just gonna hack it off,” Trump said at the bill’s signing. “It’s one of those cases like in the movies where you’ve got a really infected leg or arm and you’ve just gotta take action or else it’s gonna spread. It’s not good. It’s sad. But it’s gotta be done.”

“Yeah, sure, we’re gonna lose some of the other parts of L.A., and Santa Monica is toast, but that’s just collateral damage. It’s a fair deal,” he added.

The move was applauded by the majority of the nation, though some celebrities in New York voiced concern about the safety of their own city.
