Senile Old Bat Pelosi Calls For Trump To Resign Like Nixon Did

Despite early resistance, Speaker Nancy Pelosi now fully owns impeachment and the results of the anti-American lynching of President Trump will come to define her in the history books.

After the first week of Adam Schiff’s Soviet-style hearings, it is not looking good for either Pelosi or the Democrats who will be dragged down with her come next November unless there is a drastic change.

Once they were moved from a veritable locked dungeon in the basement of the U.S. Capitol, commissar Schiff’s rigged proceedings have fallen flat, his witnesses have been exposed and tv ratings have been disappointing.

So what does a desperate Pelosi do?

She ups the stakes by to once again moving the goalposts by suggesting that Trump should just surrender and resign as Richard M. Nixon did.

Madame Speaker made her comments on CBS’s Sunday morning gabfest Deface Face The Nation.

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is amplifying her unfavorable comparison of President Donald Trump to fellow Republican Richard Nixon, saying that disgraced president at least cared enough about the country to leave office before his impeachment.

The top Democrat in Congress told reporters last week that Trump’s pressure on Ukraine to investigate one of his potential opponents in the 2020 election “makes what Nixon did look almost small.”

In a CBS interview broadcast on Sunday, she alluded to Nixon’s resignation after the Watergate scandal involving a break-in at Democratic Party headquarters and the subsequent cover-up.

“I mean, what the president did was so much worse than even what Richard Nixon did, that at some point Richard Nixon cared about the country enough to recognize that this could not continue,” Pelosi said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

The ongoing obsession with Watergate is very telling and with the old hippies who rejoiced when they were young and Nixon was taken down are by all appearances, looking to sip from the fountain of youth by doing likewise to Trump.

To these Democrats and media figures like Carl Bernstein and John Dean, impeachment is the equivalent of Viagra.

But the 79-year-old Democrat is delusional if she believes that a fighter like Trump is ever going to quit, especially since the entire case against him is bogus.

In another sign that impeachment is already in serious trouble, Pelosi invited the POTUS to show up to personally prove his innocence in front of dishonest House inquisitors.

During an interview with CBS News’s Margaret Brennan on Sunday morning, the 79-year-old House speaker addressed claims from the president and House Republicans that Trump is not being afforded due process.

“The president could come right before the committee and talk, speak all the truth that he wants if he wants to take the Oath of Office or he could do it in writing. He has every opportunity to present his case,” Pelosi remarked.

That will happen when Hell freezes over because not only is President Trump innocent of all charges but unlike the Democrats and their media stooges, he is not stupid.

Not only does Pelosi’s bizarre insistence that Trump prove his innocence go against every bedrock legal and constitutional principle in this great nation but it is another sign that she is rapidly losing the battle with dementia.

Time to pack this old nag off to the glue factory.
