Twitter has no problem with liberal violence or racism but just can’t stand conservative truth. Use Chelsea Manning’s birth name? Banned! Tell laid-off liberal writers to learn to code? Banned! Now Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Republican challenger has gotten a lifetime ban from the social media platform for pointing out that traitors get hung. This is a 100% factual statement and it applies to Omar who may be a foreign agent and Iranian asset.
Last week some compelling evidence came out that Ilhan Omar is on the payroll of Qatar and has been giving the country sensitive U.S. information, which was passed on to Iran. If true, this would be espionage, treason, and would make Omar a traitor. The liberal news ignored this story but Danielle Stella, a Republican running against Omar, noticed.
Stella and her campaign sent out a couple of tweets that got her in hot water:
“If it is proven [Ilhan Omar] passed sensitive info to Iran, she should be tried for [treason] and hanged,” wrote Stella.
“Omar challenger says she should be hanged for treason if reports of Qatari recruitment true,” read another tweet with ASCII art hanging person.
Stella has been banned for life based on “repeated” violations of Twitter’s rules. What rules? That conservatives can’t speak the truth?
Stella didn’t say Omar should be hung for no reason and she qualified it with an “if.” If Omar is indeed on the Qatar payroll and if she helped pass sensitive information on to Iran (AKA the enemy) then she is a traitor and should be hung.
Death is the punishment for treason. In fact it’s the only punishment that exists for the crime. Here’s 18 U.S. Code § 2381:
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death
Treason is also brought up in the Constitution and defined like this:
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.
And, the only person ever put to death by the federal government for treason, William Bruce Mumford, was hung, so this is the punishment 100% of the time so far.
Getting back to the “ifs”: If Omar helped pass information to America’s enemy, she has committed treason and the punishment is death. Stella’s tweets were not just true, but Constitutionally sound and based on legal precedent.
When Def-Con News originally reported on Omar’s possible treasonous activity, we speculated that that she would react by portraying herself as the victim:
I can’t wait to see Omar explain this away as “some politician did something.” Actually, she’ll say that by pointing out that she is on Qatar’s payroll and passing secrets to Iran that racist right-wingers are putting her life in jeopardy. Technically she’s right because we hang traitors in this country.
And would you look at this:
This is the natural result of a political environment where anti-Muslim dogwhistles and dehumanization are normalized by an entire political party and its media outlets.
Violent rhetoric inevitably leads to violent threats, and ultimately, violent acts. https://t.co/tn6SRFYGmp

It’s not so much that we are clairvoyant, this is just what she does. Also, did anyone else notice that she doesn’t actually deny being on Qatar’s payroll or passing sensitive information on to Iran?
Recently Twitter announced that they wouldn’t allow political ads on the platform, but they sure as hell allow political propaganda from the left. I think what they meant to say was, they wouldn’t allow conservative points of view no matter how truthful and the lifetime banning of Danielle Stella proves it.
