The Ukrainian Boogie-Woogie and Going on Offense

George Parry, former DOJ/FBI and state prosecutor/attorney, is a well-regarded blogger, and writer at many newspapers, but also American Spectator and The Federalist.  He hit one out of the park recently with an article that starts with a description of routine FBI agent placements at American Embassies as “Legats” (Legal Attaches) to coordinate local law enforcement agencies on matters of criminality and political corruption.  FBI guys in American Embassy law enforcement activities — bet you didn’t know that.

Parry says the conversation between Presidents Trump of USA and Zelensky of Ukraine are like the lower level conversations between FBI and Foreign law enforcement officials on matters of mutual interest — coordination on corruption investigations and criminal activities as a part of foreign affairs. This makes sense, doesn’t it?

So, if the perp is a candidate for office in the US or the problem is created by that candidate’s son, is the candidate or the son immunized?  Are candidates or their relatives above the law?  Is the President of the United States, the chief law enforcement officer of the US of A constrained from inquiring into the matter of illegal or corrupt activities?

Parry asserts:

“And it is against the background of this well-established and entirely proper international cooperation by law enforcement agencies that President Trump’s telephone conversation with Ukraine’s President Zelensky must be evaluated. . . save for the fact that the conversation took place between two presidents and implicated possible corruption by a former American vice president and his son and Ukrainian officials, it is not materially different from the type of international investigative assistance requested and rendered every day.”

The nut of Mr. Parry’s essay is that Burisma Holdings’ hiring of a son of a sitting vice president’s for $50,000 per month to serve on its board, is a legitimate cause for concern.  In addition, the smell of baksheesh was in the air and the Vice President was the Pro Consul on Ukrainian affairs who made it clear he was trading US aid for an end to any law enforcement investigation of Burisma and certainly any Burisma relationship with his son, Hunter.  So Parry argues that Biden corruption problem was a proper subject for discussion between the two presidents.

As Drudge Goes Anti-Trump, His Website Is Bleeding & Pro-Trump Sites Are Growing

Drudge Report is feeling the heat as 2019 winds down.

According to The Washington Times, the conservative news aggregator has been bleeding viewers since July, with an up-welling of allegations that site founder Matt Drudge has gone anti-Trump.

Launched in 1996, Drudge Report has been a go-to news aggregation platform for conservatives almost since the advent of the internet.

But recent reports suggest fear is growing among loyal audience members that a recent surge in links to left-wing establishment media content from CNN, The New York Times and The Washington Post signifies a drastic ideological shift at Drudge.

And the latest from The Washington Times suggests that has translated into a rapidly shrinking readership.

According to the outlet, SimilarWeb market analytics indicate Drudge saw its monthly viewership drop from 96 million to 77 million between July and October — a dismal 15 percent hit.

Meanwhile, comparatively infant right-wing aggregators such as Whatfinger News, The Liberty Daily, Rantingly and NewsAmmo have seen exponential growth in recent months.

Stomach-Stapled Stalinist Jerrold Nadler was Absolutely Correct About Impeachment — in 1998

As Judiciary Committee Chair, Jerry Nadler will be responsible for pushing forward articles of impeachment against President Trump. We know he has a very clear understanding of how impeachment works and the criteria that must be met for it to be valid. We know this because in 1998, he made very clear that impeachment requires a consensus of the people and must never be made political in which one party exercises the grave duty against the will of the minority party.

Normally, I like to pull pieces of quotes from people and break them down. But Nadler’s words in 1998 stand alone. He made a lucid, Constitution-backed case for avoiding impeachment unless it is an overwhelming mandate from the people and supported by both sides of the political aisle. Today, there is no mandate from the people and Democrats are the only ones supporting it on Capitol Hill.

“The effect of impeachment is to overturn the popular will of the voters as expressed in a national election,” he said in his opening statement ahead of an impeachment vote against President Clinton. “We must not overturn an election and remove a president from office except to defend our very system of government or our constitutional liberties against a dire threat. And we must not do so without an overwhelming consensus of the American people and of their representatives in congress of the absolute necessity.”

Stuffed? Woman Needs Her Ass Amputated After “Enhancing” It With Illegal Injections

Model Courtney Barnes may have a little less room this Thanksgiving to stuff her turkey, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes and dessert.

That’s because she has been told by doctors she may need to have her entire ass amputated, after “enhancing” it with illegal injections, according to the NY Post.

Barnes, who is known as Miss Miami, said on the E! show “Botched” that she is desperate to get her body back after the injections. But Doctors told her that in order to fix her ass, it may have to be amputated.

“Amputate the whole booty? I’m not doing that. No, I’m not doing that. I’m not amputating butts,” she responded.

She had the illegal fillers injected when she was 22 years old and working as a dancer in a club.

She said: “When I was in college I got a job dancing at a club. The first night, after really not making no money on the stage, there was a dancer who walked up to me and she told me that I needed some more booty if I wanted to make some more money. That’s when I found out about the injections that gave me my big booty problems.”

She continued: “So I made the appointment and she showed up at my hotel room. She told me she worked for a cosmetic surgeon and that’s how she was able to get her hands on what she needed. I asked her why she was doing it outside of the office and that’s when she told me the procedure was illegal. It’s foolish, definitely, but all I wanted was a big booty.”

She underwent three rounds of injections over a year, but that wasn’t enough. And it was during the fourth round that problems began, she said.

DC Comics Yanks Batman Poster After China Complained It Showed Support For Hong Kong Protests

DC Comics is the latest entertainment company under fire for submitting to the will of the Chinese government after they pulled a promotional poster for a new Batman run after the Chinese complained that it showed support for the pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong.

Variety reports that DC Comics “yanked a poster for a new Batman title” by Frank Miller that showed Batman “throwing a Molotov cocktail against a backdrop of hot-pink words spelling out the new comic book’s tagline, ‘the future is young.’” The DC Black Label comic, “Dark Knight Returns: The Golden Child,” is slated to hit shelves December 11th and is hotly anticipated.

It’s also hotly debated.

Pro-government Chinese commentators pointed out the similarities between Batman’s actions on the cover and actions taken by pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong, who recently holed up in the city-states colleges and universities for a showdown with Hong Kong police, armed with a number of home-made defenses including Molotov cocktails. Demonstrators managed to hold off law enforcement for nearly two weeks before being forced out under threat of arrest and potential interrogation by Chinese-backed forces (and an uncertain future that could include life in prison or worse).

Hallmark Channel Under Assault by Race Hustlers and LGBTQ Cult, ‘Too White’

Every Christmas season, it appears we have to endure listening to the race hustlers and the gay patrol complain about the one channel left in America that does not partake in envelope-pushing. The Hallmark channel really is the last known entertainment that does not engage in the culture wars by pushing “diversity” for the sake of pleasing the agitators and instead focuses on its demographics; white moms and grandmas. But these days, being white and enjoying things white people like is a cause for concern and mockery. I’m white, and a mom, and Hallmark doesn’t particularly appeal to me except in the sense that I know I can turn it on and not be concerned that my children will be exposed to clown world morality that is on every other channel. It’s safe.

The Hollywood Reporter penned an article called “Hallmark Channel Struggles to Give Diversity a Home For the Holidays.” In it, author Lesley Goldberg takes aim at white people liking to watch other white people as if it’s some kind of mortal sin. “While other networks are viewing the holidays with an eye toward inclusion, Hallmark is delivering the dream of a white Christmas, just like the one’s audiences used to know.” I doubt Goldberg would ever complain about the lack of diversity on Black Entertainment Television (which, by the way, I happen to think is a great idea and caters to a specific audience that likes what they do. What a concept!)

In Upcoming Reboot, Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer To Sue Santa Claus For Discrimination

U.S.—An upcoming more politically correct remake of classic Christmas program Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will have Rudolph immediately sue Santa for discriminating against the color of his nose.

The exciting film will follow the story of Rudolph’s uphill court battle against the ultra-privileged bigot Santa Claus and his accomplices.

According to insiders, the epic climax of the film will show Santa Claus losing the court case and his business. He’ll then be sent to a North Pole gulag for “re-education” at the hands of tiny secret police elves.

Other changes have been made as well. Prospector Yukon Cornelius will no longer sing about oppressive capitalistic commodities like silver and gold, but will rather belt out a charming tune about food stamps and bread lines. In a particularly bloody sequence, the toys living on the Island of Misfit Toys will rise up in violent revolution and slaughter hundreds of elves with a guillotine.

“Overall, this is a much more woke take on Rudolph,” wrote a Huffington Post critic after seeing an early screening. “Rudolph will rise up and overthrow his prejudiced oppressors, as should have happened all along.”

“Finally, a Rudolph film for the whole family,” the early preview concluded.
