When they show a film on broadcast TV sometimes they have to edit it for offensive content. It’s why you don’t get to see Phoebe Cates’ Fast Times at Ridgemont High boobies on TBS or how Samuel L. Jackson is screaming about getting rid of those “mother-loving snakes on this mother-jumping plane.” The Canadian Broadcast Company thought sensitive viewers might be shocked to see Donald Trump’s cameo in the holiday film Home Alone 2 so they cut it completely. I wonder if they replaced it with Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau’s minstrel singing in blackface.

Donald Trump’s cameo has reportedly been edited out of broadcasts of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York shown in Canada on CBC.
News of the alteration was shared on social media before it was picked up by ComicBook.com. Contacted by the website, CBC said the cameo was to squeeze in commercial time. “As is often the case with features adapted for television, Home Alone 2 was edited to allow for commercial time within the format,” CBC told ComicBook.com. Newsweek has contacted CBC for comment.
The offending deleted scene saw Trump playing himself, giving Macauley Culkin’s character Kevin directions to the lobby of Plaza Hotel in NYC. I can see why Canadians might find this too unbearable to watch.
On a video conference call to U.S. troops, President Trump was asked about his appearance in the film:

“Well, I’m in Home Alone 2, and a lot of people mention it every year, especially around Christmas. They say ‘I just saw you.’ Especially young kids, they say, ‘I just saw you on the movie.’ They don’t see me on television as they do in the movie. But it’s been a good movie and I was a little bit younger, to put it mildly, and it was an honor to do it,” said Trump.
And then here’s a thing that the liberal media will most certainly fact-check:
“And it turned out to be a very big hit; obviously, it’s a big Christmas hit, one of the biggest, so it’s an honor to be involved in something like that. You always like to see success,” Trump said.
Sure, Home Alone 2 grossed $365 million but that’s less than the original so President Trump is a liar and worse than Hitler. Impeach!
And speaking of impeachment, the Wikipedia page for Home Alone 2 was hijacked with even more Trump Derangement Syndrome. The Hill reports:
The Wikipedia page for “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York” was briefly altered earlier this week to note the impeachment of President Trump, who made a cameo in the 1992 film.
According the page’s revision history, an edit was added toward the top of the page on Friday, reading: “On December 18th, 2019 Donald Trump became the first cast member from Home Alone 2 to be impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives.”
All of this shows how truly weak the impeachment case against President Trump is. The Resistance knows they can’t get him out of office for made-up offensives so they’re trying to take him down with a full-on assault of his cameo in Home Alone 2. Next up, they’ll try to erase him from Zoolander.
