The first 4 days of the Senate impeachment trial have been a major snooze-fest with Shifty Adam Shift bloviating and lying for hours on end. The only thing that comes close to being interesting is that much of the House democrats’ case against President Trump involves making sure everyone knows Joe Biden and his son Hunter didn’t do anything wrong with regards to Ukraine. If you thought the impeach was supposed to be about President TRump’s misconduct, you were way off. This ploy to exonerate the Biden’s backfired spectacularly because Republican Senator Lindsey Graham is now promising an investigation into their scumbaggery.
As you know, the House democrats impeached President Trump on a couple of bogus charges related to a phone call he had with Ukraine president Zekelsky. Despite a transcript of that call being declassified and made public by Trump showing he did nothing wrong, democrats claim the President extorted Ukraine by threatening to withhold aid unless they investigated the Bidens.
And speaking of the Bidens, when Joe was VP, he actually did threaten to withhold aid to Ukraine unless they fired a prosecutor who was investigating a company that his crackhead son Hunter sat on the board of. Much of the democrats case that they presented to the Senate involved saying over and over again that any question of the Bidens’ wrongdoing has been throughly debunked. Debunked by who? Joe Biden? The former veep is on camera bragging about it.
Lindsey Graham would also like to know who has debunked this thing Biden admitted to, so he announced there will be an investigation:
Manager Schiff has suggested we put ourselves in the Bidens’ shoes.
I would assume that if we did what the Bidens did – allowing Hunter Biden to turn Ukraine into an ATM machine receiving an estimated $3 million from one of the most corrupt companies in a corrupt country……

If @VP Pence and his son were in this spot, I’m confident Mr. Schiff and our Democratic colleagues would be demanding someone look into this matter, not simply sweep it under the rug.

Every media outlet in the country would demand an accounting & Democrats would howl for an investigation.
Clear to me the House managers are misleading the Senate – and country – when they say that the Bidens’ conflict of interest in Ukraine is baseless and been debunked.

When this trial is over, I expect oversight regarding the effect of Hunter Biden’s activities in Ukraine and what Vice President Biden knew and when he knew it.

And the thing is, this impeachment effort has always been about protecting Joe Biden. President Trump wanted an investigation into the Bidens, the “whistleblower” who kicked everything off is a working supporter of Joe Biden, and most importantly, Biden is supposed to be the guy who defeats President Trump, bringing the White House back to the democrats.
If Joe Biden gets caught up in a massive corruption scandal, Trump wins so the democrats said let’s “impeach the motherf*cker.”
Because they are positively stupid however, they just tipped their hand in the Senate impeachment trial. They didn’t have a case to begin with, but the constant warnings that the Bidens are off limits and the lies that Joe’s Ukraine problem has been debunked have done nothing but put the focus on the former VP.
Trump will be acquitted and there will be an investigation into the Bidens, which won’t end well for Joe. Not only is Adam “Shifty” he’s also a Schiffer-brains for thinking this was a winning strategy for his party.
