Bernie Sanders is playing catch-up with Joe Biden, who’s killing him in the primaries, so he has to not only match BS to BS, but out BS Crazy Joe. Biden has said that 11.5 million Americans are murdered by guns every year, which means the entire population would be wiped out in 28 years. To one up that fraudulent stat, Bernie’s campaign is claiming 500 million Americans go bankrupt every year because of medical debt. There ain’t but 327 million people in this country, so this is clearly a lie.
Briahna Joy Gray is Bernie Sanders’ national press secretary and this is what his campaign wants the people to know:

Interesting, if true. It’s not actually true, but still somehow interesting. As was previously stated, the U.S. population is 327 million so if 500 million of us are going bankrupt every year, there’s a glaring math discrepancy.
Maybe Gray is trying to include illegal aliens, but the U.S. population is representative of everyone who is in this country, not just citizens and legal residents. Besides, everyone knows illegal aliens get free taxpayer funded health care and couldn’t possibly go bankrupt by mooching off the system.
So where exactly do these 173 million extra Americans come from? Maybe they are the hidden Bernie Bros who show up to Sanders’ rallies, but don’t vote for him in any of the state primary elections. Perhaps they are communist dissidents lurking in the shadows, waiting for Bernie’s socialist revolution to come out and be counted. Most likely, Bernie’s press secretary is an idiot who can’t count.
Bernie’s camp is using this bullshit statistic to scare people into joining his socialist takeover of the United Sates. In the meantime, here’s some real statistics that should remind people why communism is terrible:
Communist dictator Joseph Stalin killed 20 million of his own people.
Communist dictator Pol Pot killed 2 million of his own people.
12 million people in communist Cuba eat donkey meat and aren’t allowed to think.
26 million people in communist North Korea have to pretend their fearless leader doesn’t have an asshole or they will be killed.
32 million people in socialist Venezuela have to eat their pet rabbits because there’s no food at the store.
1.4 billion people in China have to make iPhones and throw their newborn daughters down a well.
That’s way more than the 500 million Bernie’s campaign claims live in America, but it does highlight how truly awful communism is. It certainly doesn’t support the idea that Sanders’ band of Marxist Leninism is something Americans would want.
As the democratic party drags on, expect an escalation of bullshit stats to come out from the candidates. Joe struck first by claiming 150 million Americans have been killed by “gun violence” since 2007. Bernie hit back by saying 500 million Americans go bankrupt every year due to a lack of socialism.
Biden’s going to come back by saying that 600 million Americans like to rub his hairy legs in the swimming pool. Bernie is playing from behind so he’ll say 700 million Americans have cured their cervical cancer with orgasms. This race is far from over.
