Inside The Military’s Top Secret Plans If Coronavirus Cripples the Government
Via Newspeak Newsweek
EDITOR’S NOTE: The theme of martial law has been increasingly floated by the Deep State and its scribes and political water carriers. That his “top secret” plan would be published by Newsweek is a warning of what may be coming – food for thought and good info on COG (Continuity Of Government) programs.
Even as President Trump says he tested negative for coronavirus, the COVID-19 pandemic raises the fear that huge swaths of the executive branch or even Congress and the Supreme Court could also be disabled, forcing the implementation of “continuity of government” plans that include evacuating Washington and “devolving” leadership to second-tier officials in remote and quarantined locations.
But Coronavirus is also new territory, where the military itself is vulnerable and the disaster scenarios being contemplated — including the possibility of widespread domestic violence as a result of food shortages — are forcing planners to look at what are called “extraordinary circumstances”.
Above-Top Secret contingency plans already exist for what the military is supposed to do if all the Constitutional successors are incapacitated. Standby orders were issued more than three weeks ago to ready these plans, not just to protect Washington but also to prepare for the possibility of some form of martial law.
According to new documents and interviews with military experts, the various plans – codenamed Octagon, Freejack and Zodiac – are the underground laws to ensure government continuity. They are so secret that under these extraordinary plans, “devolution” could circumvent the normal Constitutional provisions for government succession, and military commanders could be placed in control around America.
—
On February 1, Defense Secretary Mark T. Esper signed orders directing NORTHCOM to execute nationwide pandemic plans. Secretly, he signed Warning Orders (the WARNORD as it’s called) alerting NORTHCOM and a host of east coast units to “prepare to deploy” in support of potential extraordinary missions.
Seven secret plans – some highly compartmented – exist to prepare for these extraordinary missions. Three are transportation related, just to move and support the White House and the federal government as it evacuates and operates from alternate sites. The first is called the Rescue & Evacuation of the Occupants of the Executive Mansion (or RESEM) plan, responsible for protecting President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and their families–whether that means moving them at the direction of the Secret Service or, in a catastrophe, digging them out of the rubble of the White House.
The second is called the Joint Emergency Evacuation Plan (or JEEP), and it organizes transportation for the Secretary of Defense and other national security leaders so that they can leave the Washington area. The Atlas Plan is a third, moving non-military leaders – Congressional leadership, the Supreme Court and other important figures – to their emergency relocation sites. Under Atlas, a still- secret bunker would be activated and cordoned, with government operations shifting to Maryland.
The three most compartmented contingencies – Octagon, Freejack, and Zodiac – call upon various military units in Washington DC, North Carolina and eastern Maryland to defend government operations if there is a total breakdown. The seventh plan – codenamed Granite Shadow – lays out the playbook for extraordinary domestic missions that involve weapons of mass destruction. (I disclosed the existence of this plan in 2005, and its associated “national mission force”–a force that is on alert at all times, even in peacetime, to respond to a terrorist attack or threat with the nuclear weapon.)
Most of these plans have been quietly activated during presidential inaugurals and State of the Union addresses, the centrality of the weapons of mass destruction scenario seen in the annual Capital Shield exercise in Washington. Last year’s exercise posited a WMD attack on Metro Station. Military sources say that only the massive destruction caused by a nuclear device – or the enormous loss of life that could be caused by a biological agent – present catastrophic pressure great enough to justify movement into extra-Constitutional actions and extraordinary circumstances plans.

Democrat Dark Money Groups To Spend Millions Politicizing Wuhan Flu https://t.co/0ktsM9YWmY

Democrat Dark Money Groups To Spend Millions Politicizing Wuhan Flu
Via The Federalist
A network of Democratic non-profits and super PACs are funneling millions of dollars toward advertisements in key swing states, with the intent of politicizing the Wuhan coronavirus crisis and blaming the pandemic on President Donald Trump.
The Washington Post reported the group Pacronym is planning to spend $5 million on ads attacking Trump’s response to the pandemic. Pacronym, whose board of directors includes former Barack Obama campaign manager David Plouffe, said its ads will target key 2020 swing states like Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Arizona.
Pacronym is the political action committee affiliated with Acronym, the non-profit who also funded Shadow, Inc., the company responsible for the failed Iowa caucuses reporting app. Acronym is financed by a larger democratic dark money group, New Venture Fund.
In 2018, the New Venture Fund gave at least $250,000 to Acronym, Acronym’s 2018 990 IRS forms show. New Venture Fund is just one of the dark money nonprofit funds under the umbrella of the for-profit, privately held consultancy called Arabella Advisors, LLC.
Another Democratic PAC called American Bridge said they will also be running similar ads politicizing the pandemic in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. American Bridge told the Washington Post it would be placing an additional ad on “Trump’s incompetence,” including “clips of Trump himself downplaying the crisis.”
American Bridge also receives funding from the New Venture Fund, as well as another one of Arabella’s non-profit groups, Sixteen Thirty Fund. Both non-profits share an address and interlocking officers with the for-profit Arabella. In 2018, Politico reported that the Sixteen Thirty Fund “funneled millions of dollars to progressive causes” by setting up a secret-money network of other groups, which were the “most prolific political advertisers of 2018” when combined.
Now, Arabella is sending funds down through its spider web of nonprofits to politicize a time of fear and instability before the 2020 election.

Dems Reject Gun Violence Bill as Shootings Surge in Baltimore
Via The Washington Free Beacon
Maryland Democrats rejected a bill aimed at combating gun violence as Baltimore mayor Jack Young publicly begged residents to stop shooting each other so hospitals could be used to treat coronavirus patients.
Young, a Democrat, pleaded with residents on Wednesday not to “clog up our hospitals and beds with people [who] are being shot senselessly.” But on the same day, his partymates in the state legislature voted down a bill pushed by Republican governor Larry Hogan that would strengthen penalties for violent criminals.
Hogan’s Violent Firearms Offenders Act would make the theft of a firearm a felony and increase penalties for those who repeatedly carry illegal guns or use a gun while drug dealing. The bill passed the state Senate on March 10 following a contentious back-and-forth between lawmakers. Democrats successfully removed the legislation’s mandatory minimum sentencing increase, arguing it would punish violent criminals too severely.
Following the removal of mandatory minimums and the bill’s subsequent passage, state Senate president and Baltimore Democrat Bill Ferguson lauded the legislation’s bipartisan nature, saying it included “the legislature’s priorities and some of the governor’s priorities.” Speaker of the House Adrienne Jones did not respond to a request for comment on why the bill was rejected.
Following the Wednesday vote, the Maryland legislature adjourned due to the coronavirus crisis. House Minority Leader Nic Kipke called the failure to pass Hogan’s bill “one of the disappointments” of the legislative session.
“We still haven’t addressed the issue of crime in the state,” Kipke said. “It’s one of the disappointments for me this session.”

Wikipedia editors are in a tense debate about whether to rename the "Spanish Flu" to the "1918 Flu Pandemic."
Proponents of the change claim it is not politically motivated, and say those who suggest it is are right wing conspiracy theorists. https://t.co/PwaxFtJ64q

Wikipedia Debates Whether to Rename Spanish Flu ‘1918 Influenza Pandemic’
Via The National File
Wikipedia is debating whether to rename the Spanish Flu to the “1918 Influenza Pandemic,” a clear reaction to the Chinese Virus/Coronavirus argument.
President Trump has recently taken to referring to the coronavirus outbreak, also known as Covid-19, as the “Chinese Virus,” and has been accused of racism and xenophobia for doing so.
A common response to the leftists accusing him of bigotry is to point out that the Spanish Flu is the most common name for the flu outbreak that took place after the end of the First World War – so, of course, this is being retconned.
On the Talk page for the “Spanish Flu” Wikipedia article, there is a raging debate going on as to whether to rename the page to the “1918 Influenza Pandemic.”
Some commentors claimed that the name “Spanish Flu” is racist, just as “Chinese Flu” is racist, with others swearing that they definitely hadn’t referred to the pandemic as the “Spanish Flu” before, honest, and one who even claimed that it was a “right wing conspiracy theory” that people knew the name change was due to the coronavirus:
It’s not just Wikipedia that is guilty of this. Leftists and Democrats across the board are attempting to rename the Spanish Flu in a thinly veiled attack at President Trump.
A memo from the Joe Biden campaign referred to the Spanish Flu as “the 1918 flu pandemic,” a New York Times columnist said it wasn’t “fair or accurate to call the 1918 pandemic the Spanish Flu,” and a Washington Examiner reporter said calling it the Spanish Flu was “racist and foreshadowed American nativism,” to give just a few examples.

John Lennon's 'Imagine' Rereleased With More Realistic Description Of Communism https://t.co/Uf07DOQU01

John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’ Rereleased With More Realistic Description Of Communism
Via The Babylon Bee (Satire)
UK—Have you ever tried to imagine living in a perfect world ruled by communism, but previously only received the information from catchy folk songs which praise the system? Well, lucky for you, it is now easier than ever to understand what a full-blown communist utopia actually looks like.
That’s because John Lennon’s commie classic “Imagine” has been rereleased with more realistic lyrics to reflect the harsh realities of communism. Lennon, long dead—though not by way of communism, since he was blessed to live in a capitalist country—would be proud of the change, due to its artistic value in realism.
While the classic folk song does do a fantastic job of laying out the basics of communism—no religion, no possessions, no food—it never invites the listener to imagine all the people in their true form, which is dead—usually by firing squad, but often by way of starvation as well.
“John Lennon wrote this once-beautiful song way back in the seventies,” a communist music snob told us. “However, in the years since, we have found out that what communism actually was, was basically a non-stop killing machine. It was beautiful, really. May have saved the planet. So that’s why they changed the lyrics. To make it more realistic.”
So now, with the updated lyrics, we can collectively “imagine all the people, sharing all the world,” dead. And what better way to share the world than in a mass grave?
The full lyrics are reproduced below.
Imagine there’s no bread
It’s easy if you try
No tacos or hot sauce,
Nothing cold or fried,
Imagine all the people living in the gulags
Imagine there’s no money
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to eat or drink
And no bacon too
Imagine all the people living short life spans ooooh
You may say I’m a commie
But I’m not the only one
And someday you will join us
Or we’ll shoot you in the face
Imagine no possessions
Because all your stuff was redistributed
Lots of greed and hunger
But seriously please can I have a potato
Imagine all the people sharing all your stuff, yeah
You may say I’m a commie
But I’m not the only one
Did you say you don’t like that?
Then it’s the gulag for you, son
