That should take care of the pesky coronavirus. I have no idea how San Antonio, Texas is doing with lifting the lockdown and getting people back to work, but they sure as hell want to make sure its citizens are obedient. The city passed a resolution declaring the term “Chinese Virus” to describe COVID-19 as “hate speech.” People may not be able to earn a living but at least they aren’t allowed to accurately describe where this pandemic came from. That seems helpful.

Hate speech directed against certain ethnic groups in connection with the coronavirus outbreak will not be tolerated, the city council of San Antonio, Texas, decided Thursday.
Council members unanimously passed a resolution that specifically addresses anti-Chinese COVID-19 references, including terms such as “Chinese virus” or “kung fu virus,” claiming such language encourages hate crimes and other incidents against Asian-Americans and Asian immigrants.
San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg spearheaded this stupid thing so obviously he has some stupid things to say about it.
“Unfortunately, during times of crisis we do see the best of humanity and sometimes we also see the worst,” said Nirenberg.
He thinks it’s unfortunate that we see the best of humanity? This guy has to be a democrat. Also, he just helped pass a resolution declaring “Chinese virus” hate speech, so there’s no chance he isn’t a democrat.
“There has been a rise of hate speech throughout the course of this pandemic,” Nirenberg added.
Wait a second, he said that they passed the resolution to stop hate crimes, not hate speech. Stay with me on this: the problem was, according to Mayor McUseless, that calling it “Chinese Virus” was hate speech so the passed a resolution to declare that term hate speech. Prior to the passage of the resolution, “Chinese virus” wasn’t officially hate speech so the Mayor is lying that they had a lot of hate speech, which also takes away the reason for passing the resolution.
As if that’s not insane enough, here’s the rest of this resolution:
The resolution asserts the coronavirus was not created or caused by any race, nationality or ethnicity.
“Our efforts must meet the indiscriminate nature of COVID-19 with empathy and compassion for all our neighbors,” said Nirenberg.
This is from the “party of science.” COVID-19 exists naturally in bats, but it was being studied in a lab in Wuhan, China where they let escape. The Chinese, aided by the W.H.O., then covered up the escaped virus and lied about it until it spread across the globe. The is a “Chinese virus” and the communist government of China is 100% responsible for the pandemic, therefore it is 100% accurate to say that the coronavirus pandemic was caused by a specific nationality and ethnicity.
This San Antonio resolution, on top of being CCP propaganda, is directly opposed to proven science and verifiable facts. Again, there’s no way Mayor Dingleberry isn’t a democrat.
Making it the dumbest (liberalest) thing ever, what does this actually accomplish? Are they going to arrest people for saying “Chinese virus” in public? Even if they could, how would this stop anything? They seem to be under the impression that someone who would assault an Asian over the coronavirus will have a change of heart because they are no longer legally allowed to accurately describe the origins ofCOVID-19.
