Real Thugs Attack Fake News CNN HQ In Atlanta

Riots have broken out across the country to “protest” a black man who died in police custody in Minneapolis. In Los Angeles they are shutting down the freeways and attacking police vehicles. In DC they are throwing bottles of pee pee at the White House. In Atalanta however, the real thugs have turned their anger on fake news CNN and are attacking the network’s HQ. If you’re like me, this very conflicting: is it bad rioters are trying to destroy CNN who has been trying to destroy the truth since Trump took office?

George Floyd, a black man died in Minneapolis after an officer knelt on his neck when he resisted arrest. Immediately the officer and 3 others were fired. The county DA fast-tracked an investigation and charged the former officer with murder 4 days later. Justice was swift in this case.

Protesters across the country however are demanding justice despite the fact that it’s already being served. My guess is people are sick of being locked down because of the coronavirus and are looking at rioting as good way to get out of the house and possibly get a new TV for free.

In Atlanta, they’ve decided CNN is responsible for Floyd’s death and have been attacking the network’s headquarters:

Police moved into CNN’s lobby because it would be a damn shame if something would happen to a network nobody watches. CNN reporter Nick Valencia claims protesters shot him with a BB gun and then the real fun began:

Plus this:

I’m no civil unrest or police tactics expert, but wouldn’t it make much more sense for the riot squad to set up a perimeter outside of the CNN building? This is still an ongoing thing, but it looks like cops are willing to fallback and concede CNN to the unruly mob, like cops did with their police station in Minneapolis last night.

As it turns out, CNN can’t get on the good side of anyone. earlier in the day, Minnesota  state police actually arrested a CNN crew:

Then, proving they have some of the brightest crime-fighting minds in the country, the cops explained why they arrested the CNN crew:

They couldn’t tell by the cameras and press credentials that the CNN crew were members of the media? Maybe that was the cops way of calling CNN “fake news.” I can’t say I blame them. It’s nearly impossible to tell that CNN is news.

And that brings up a pretty good point: did any of this actually happen? CNN isn’t known for their honesty. Maybe all of this is just another fake news charade. It does look pretty realistic though, so I’ll give ‘em that.

Again, I’m generally against civil unrest but somehow I’m not terribly outraged that the real thugs are attacking fake news CNN. I also don’t even care that smashing up CNN headquarters has absolutely nothing with a black guy dying in Minnesota.
