President Trump’s campaign put an ad up on their Facebook page regarding the mobs of angry leftists trying to destroy our cities, including slacker terrorists Antifa. This was an anti-Antifa ad and it used symbols that the group employs. Facebook, in their infinite weeniness, pulled the spot because it contained an image of an Antifa symbol that he social media dictators deemed hateful. In condemning a terrorist group, Facebook determined that Trump was being hateful somehow.
Fox News reports:
Facebook on Thursday removed an ad run by President Trump’s re-election campaign for violating the social media platform’s policy on hate speech, but the Trump campaign pushed back hard by arguing they were showing a “symbol used by Antifa” to push back against far-left groups.
The ad, which was posted by Team Trump’s Facebook group as well as on Trump’s and Vice President Mike Pence’s pages, stated that “Dangerous MOBS of far-left groups” are “DESTROYING out cities and rioting – it’s absolute madness.”
The ad in question featured the Trump campaign denouncing what it called “Dangerous MOBS of far-left groups” and features a red upside-down triangle with a black border. A red upside-down triangle was used by the Nazis in their concentration camps to signify political prisoners such as socialists, communists and anarchists.
“We removed these posts and ads for violating our policy against organized hate. Our policy prohibits using a banned hate group’s symbol to identify political prisoners without the context that condemns or discusses the symbol,” said a Facebook spokesfascist.
Under this rule, which Facebook obviously just made up to spite Trump, the Jewish Star of David would be banned since Nazis used it to signify Jewish prisoners. I’d be willing to bet Stars of David (Star of Davids?)are not banned on Facebook.
This is already dumb, but Trump’s campaign uncovered even more stupidity:
The Trump campaign, though, responded that the upside-down red triangle is a symbol used by Antifa and called out Facebook for including one as an emoji in its messenger.
“The inverted red triangle is a symbol used by Antifa, so it was included in an ad about Antifa. We would note that Facebook still has an inverted red triangle emoji in use, which looks exactly the same, so it’s curious that they would target only this ad,” Trump campaign coms director Tim Murtaugh.
This is an emoji. 🔻
It’s also a symbol widely used by Antifa. It was used in an ad about Antifa.
It is not in the ADL’s Hate Symbols Database. pic.twitter.com/WXSWzBLpkw

And this came with a bit of irony:
“The image is also not included in the Anti-Defamation League’s database of symbols of hate. But it is ironic that it took a Trump ad to force the media to implicitly concede that Antifa is a hate group,” Murtaugh said.
This shows the problem of being liberal and full of shit (same thing). They want to resist President Trump but in doing so accidentally called out their ideological brothers and sisters in Antifa as a hate group.
And again, Trump didn’t put out a pro-Antifa ad, it was decidedly against the terrorist group. With this new rule that Facebook just made up to go after Trump with, people wouldn’t be able to post anti-Nazi or anti-white supremacist content.
Here’s an ad that Joe Biden used to launch his campaign that features images of hate groups and symbols of hate:
This thing was fine on Facebook, which is extra-bullshit considering it is all debunked lies.
Twitter started fact-checking Trump’s tweets, using noted liars lying. Now Facebook is pulling Trump ads based on rules that are both stupid and which don’t apply to anyone else, especially democrats.
This is Facebook saying hating on the haters is hateful but it’s also big social media begging to be regulated.
