President Trump was going to hold his Tulsa, OK rally on Friday June 19, until democrats freaked out because that’s also “Juneteenth” the day the Emancipation Proclamation finally reached Texas. For some reason they’ve come up with a rule that Republicans can’t do anything on a day when a Republican freed the slaves from democrats.
All of a sudden democrats have deemed Juneteenth a sacred day, but the reality is, they never cared about it until President Trump’s rally. I went through their Twitter accounts to see if any of them have been celebrating Juneteenth for years and shockingly almost none of them mentioned it until last week:
Joe Biden celebrated Juneeteenth this year:
#Juneteenth reminds us of how vulnerable our nation is to being poisoned by systems and acts of inhumanity—but it’s also a reminder of our ability to change. Together, we can lay the roots of real and lasting justice, and become the extraordinary nation that was promised to all.
— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) June 19, 2020
And He did last year, but no years previously. Joe has been on Twitter since 2007.
As we recognize Juneteenth and the progress we’ve made since slavery, we must also double down on our efforts to root out systemic racism. We have to make sure we’re working to move closer to that more perfect union, to the idea of America that has inspired so many generations.

Shifty Adam Schiff thinks Juneteenth should be a national holiday…
Today is Juneteenth. It should be a national holiday.
Just as Americans learn the history of July 4, understanding and celebrating Juneteenth is a critical part of American history.
So I wanted to share a few facts and resources today to do my small part: https://t.co/WBs2xfqMOR
— Adam Schiff (@RepAdamSchiff) June 19, 2020
…but 2020 is the first time he’s ever had that idea. Schiff has been on Twitter since 2009
Nuclear farter Eric Swalwell has been on Twitter since 2012, but for some reason only ever tweeted about Juneteenth a couple days ago:
Today as we celebrate #Juneteenth and reflect upon the end of slavery 154 years ago, we must acknowledge that the fight for racial equality in the United States is not over. We must confront white supremacy in America and continue to push for freedom and justice for all.

Bernie Sanders actually tweeted about Juneteenth last year, for the first time, but he loses credit because this year’s tweet is simply recycled from 2019. Way to phone it in Bernie:
I’m proud to celebrate #Juneteenth with @MrDannyGlover. This year’s holiday takes on special significance because of today’s House hearing on H.R. 40 to study the impacts of slavery. We must come to terms with slavery’s horrors and how they affect every aspect of our lives today. pic.twitter.com/WXfqO5s4oN

It is time that we, as a nation, come to terms with slavery’s horrors and how they affect every aspect of our lives today. I am proud to celebrate #Juneteenth with Mr. Danny Glover. pic.twitter.com/nTUaN324hn

Fat Jerry Nadler has been on Twitter since 2009 but he never mentioned Juneteenth until last week and he used the occasion to hyperventilate on President Trump:
On top of making the callous decision to hold a rally in Tulsa on Juneteenth, Trump is now forcing attendees of his rally to assume liability—meaning they won’t sue—if they contract COVID19.
If one thing is clear, it’s that Trump doesn’t care about the people he claims to serve. https://t.co/MhI0MC9JBo

Senator Brian Schatz didn’t give a shat about Juneteenth until last Friday:
As we celebrate Juneteenth, we must confront the injustices and racism that Black Americans still face today.
From police brutality to housing discrimination to health disparities, we still have more work to do to dismantle our nation’s legacy of slavery.
— Senator Brian Schatz (@SenBrianSchatz) June 19, 2020
Dumbest guy in congress Ted Lieu never mentioned Juneteenth until last week as well and also went spastic on Trump:
Why is @realDonaldTrump idolizing Confederate names & symbols, and doing a rally in Tulsa on Juneteenth?
-Random coincidences.
-Internal polling shows even bigots are abandoning him.
-Occam’s razor: He’s a racist. https://t.co/0I8B83c4Ez

Muslim Rep. Rashida Tlaib tweeted about Juneteenth last year, but skipped it in 2020:
To truly atone the horrific sin of slavery, reparations must be a part of the restorative justice needed to achieve real equality and justice. @HouseJudiciary is holding a historic hearing on #HR40 as we celebrate #Juneteenth.

None of the other Loon Squad members besides black skinhead Ayanna Pressley had a Juneteenth tweet from before 2019. I realize the they are all freshmen Reps and have only been in office since last year, but I went through their personal accounts as well and they didn’t care until recently.
If Juneteenth is so important and deserves to be a national holiday, why didn’t any these democrats give a rat’s ass about it until Trump was going to hold a rally on that date? I think I just answered my own question.
Democrats are attempting to use a day when a Republican took the slaves away from the democrats to spite the Republican President. That’s the most democrat thing to happen since they impeached President Trump for something their presumptive presidential nominee Joe Biden bragged about on tape.
