I was once told if we’re not careful, 2 percent of the passionate will control 98 percent of the indifferent 100 percent of the time.

The more I’ve thought about this phrase, the more I believe it. There is now a small group of passionate people working hard to destroy our American way of life. Treason and treachery are rampant and our rule of law and those law enforcement professionals who uphold our laws are under the gun more than at any time in our nation’s history. These passionate 2 percent appear to be winning.

Despite there being countless good people trying to come to grips with everything else on their plates, our silent majority (the indifferent) can no longer be silent.

If the United States wants to survive the onslaught of socialism, if we are to continue to enjoy self-government and the liberty of our hard-fought freedoms, we have to understand there are two opposing forces: One is the “children of light” and the other is the “children of darkness.”

As I recently wrote, the art and exercise of self-governance require active participation by every American. I wasn’t kidding! And voting is only part of that active participation. Time and again, the silent majority have been overwhelmed by the “audacity and resolve” of small, well-organized, passionate groups. It’s now time for us, the silent majority (the indifferent), to demonstrate both.

The trials of our current times, like warfare, are immense and consequences severe and these seem inconquerable.

As a policewoman from Virginia told me, “People don’t feel safe in their homes and our police force is so demoralized we cannot function as we should. In my 23 years with my department, I have never seen morale so low.”

Another woman from Mississippi told me that we need our leaders to “drop a forceful hammer. People are losing patience. It simply must be stopped! Laws MUST be enforced … no one is above the law.”

Don’t fret. Through smart, positive actions of resolute citizen-patriots, we can prevail. Always keep in mind that our enemy (these dark forces) invariably have difficulties of which we are ignorant.

For most Americans, these forces appear to be strong. I sense they are desperate. I also sense that only a slight push on our part is all that is required to defeat these forces. How should that push come?

Prayers help and prayers matter, but action is also a remedy. Our law enforcement professionals, from the dispatcher to the detective and from the cop to the commissioner, are a line of defense against the corrupt and the criminal. It is how we remain (for now) in a state of relatively peaceful existence.

We must support them with all our being. They are not the enemy; they bring light to the darkness of night through their bravery and determination to do their jobs without fanfare and with tremendous sacrifice.

The silent majority (the indifferent) tend to go the way of those leading them. We are not map- or mind-readers; we are humans fraught with all the hopes and fears that flesh is heir to. We must not become lost in this battle. We must resoundingly follow our God-given common sense.

Seek the truth, fight for it in everything that is displayed before you. Don’t trust the fake news or false prophets; trust your instincts and your common sense. Those with a conscience know the difference between right and wrong, and those with courage will always choose the harder right over the easier wrong.

I believe the attacks being presented to us today are part of a well-orchestrated and well-funded effort that uses racism as its sword to aggravate our battlefield dispositions. This weapon is used to leverage and legitimize violence and crime, not to seek or serve the truth.

The dark forces’ weapons formed against us serve one purpose: to promote radical social change through power and control. Socialism and the creation of a socialist society are their ultimate goals. They are also intent on driving God out of our families, our schools and our courts. They are even seeking the very removal of God from our churches, essentially hoping to remove God from our everyday lives.

Remember, we will only remain united as “one nation under God.”

Dems Come For Mount Rushmore; Equate 4th Of July Celebration With White Supremacy

The corporate-sponsored cultural revolution has now moved from Confederate statues and former presidents to one of the biggest monuments of them all.

The Democrats who are the hidden hand behind the dangerous insurrection that has swept the country took aim at Mount Rushmore, the iconic American site where President Trump is set to participate in a Fourth Of July celebration.

On Monday, the official Twitter account of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) sent out a missive decrying the South Dakota monument in dog whistle terms as an idol erected to white supremacy.

According to the DNC:

“Trump has disrespected Native communities time and again,” the Democrats wrote on Twitter, with a link to an article in the British newspaper the Guardian, in the now-deleted tweet. “He’s attempted to limit their voting rights and blocked critical pandemic relief. Now he’s holding a rally glorifying white supremacy at Mount Rushmore–a region once sacred to tribal communities.”

It was an escalation for what is now a morally bankrupt, fully-radicalized, anti-American party that is fueled by hate of the worst type as well as a message so audaciously over the top that the DNC has since deleted it.

The Democrats, the official Twitter account of the Democratic National Committee, raised eyebrows on Monday night for accusing President Trump of “glorifying white supremacy” after he scheduled a Fourth of July celebration at Mount Rushmore.

Trump is set to attend a fireworks display at the iconic landmark that honors George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln.

But a tweet from the Democrats’ official Twitter page took issue with the president for holding the event there and shared a link to an article published by The Guardian last week about the criticism he has received from the Native American community.

“Trump has disrespected Native communities time and again,” The Democrats wrote. “He’s attempted to limit their voting rights and blocked critical pandemic relief. Now he’s holding a rally glorifying white supremacy at Mount Rushmore- a region once sacred to tribal communities.”

Critics pounded the Democrats for the tweet, which has since been deleted.

The tweet serves two purposes: for one it further illustrates just how far that this sick and depraved political party is prepared to go to seize power and second, it is a slick call to arms to their mobs to descend on the Black Hills later this week to disrupt the Trump rally and bully supporters.

Given Mount Rushmore’s importance to America and the four faces chiseled into the face of the mountain of former presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln whose statues are being toppled, it is a prime target for the communist-inspired mobs.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem responded to suggestions that the monument would be the site of potential terrorist attacks – “Not on my watch.”

With the celebration scheduled for Friday and Gov. Noem unlikely to curl up into the fetal position under media pressure for locking down the country, it would be a good idea to deploy the National Guard in order to keep the peace.

Social Media’s Election Interference

What Facebook and Twitter are doing is no less insidious than meddling by a foreign adversary. Their activity is political, not commercial.

college senior raised in a conservative household now posting Black Lives Matter propaganda on her Instagram account. A son-in-law berating his wife’s self-made millionaire family about racism and Donald Trump. A twentysomething graduate of one of the country’s top universities informing his attentive, loving parents that he’s ashamed of how he was raised in a mostly white suburb. Parents bullied by their children into posting Black Lives Matters memes and George Floyd condolences on social media. A biracial couple on the verge of a break-up over disagreements on race, protests, and riots.

Those are just a few of the stories I’ve heard recently from friends and relatives dealing with the consequences of the country’s ongoing racial strife. Dissent, or even mild disagreement, are not allowed. The Left is tearing the country apart on both the macro and the micro level as families and friendships are shredded over accusations of “systemic racism.”

Now, admittedly, children condemning their parents for how they were raised is nothing new. Generational revolt is a rite of passage in America. But friends once debated politics without ending up in fisticuffs. And while presidential election years always are fraught with tension and terse discourse, the Trump era has been a nonstop temper tantrum from the Left.

The unique danger underpinning the current calamity, obviously, is the added fuel in the form of social media. Teens and young adults don’t read papers or watch network news; according to a 2018 poll, more than one-third of adults ages 18 to 39 list social media as their primary source for news. Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook rule the news cycle. And information is rarely posted without comment—consumers are told how to interpret the article or video before they have a chance to view it independently. Groupthink takes over; mobs are incited, cities burn, minds are poisoned, detractors are silenced, and the country unravels bit by bit.

The purpose of the latest uprising is the same purpose that has been animating the Left in this country for nearly four years: to oust Donald Trump from the White House. Before the twin blows of coronavirus and racial strife, Trump looked like a sure bet for reelection. After a failed Russian collusion hoax, a failed special counsel probe, and a failed impeachment attempt, Trump was well-positioned to defeat a feeble-minded, baggage-laden Joe Biden. Democrats effectively have leveraged both crises for maximum political gain while hiding Biden in his basement.

Social media moguls, hostile to Donald Trump and part of the ruling corporate Left, also are exploiting the unrest as an excuse to censor the president—and they’re not even trying to hide it. The same platforms that have promoted lies about everything from Trump-Russia collusion to Catholic high schoolers disrespecting a “native elder” have developed a sudden interest in acting as the internet’s truth-sayers.

“The 2020 elections were already shaping up to be heated and that was before we all faced the additional complexities of voting during a pandemic and protests for racial justice across the country,” Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg wrote Friday in announcing his company’s new censorship policies. “During this moment, Facebook will take extra precautions to help everyone stay safe, stay informed, and ultimately use their voice where it matters most—voting.”

As Liz Sheld detailed Monday, the company is folding to intense pressure from employees, corporations, and activist groups to silence Trump and his supporters just four months before Election Day.

The Media is Lying About the ‘Second Wave’

For months, the Washington Post and the rest of the mainstream media kept a morbid Covid-19 “death count” on their front pages and at the top of their news broadcasts. The coronavirus outbreak was all about the number of dead. The narrative was intended to boost governors like Cuomo in New York and Whitmer in Michigan, who turned their states authoritarian under the false notion that destroying people’s jobs, freedom, and lives would somehow keep a virus from doing what viruses always do: spread through a population until eventually losing strength and dying out.

The “death count” was always the headline.

But then all of a sudden early in June the mainstream media did a George Orwell and lectured us that it is all about “cases” and has always been all about “cases.” Death, and especially infection fatality rate, were irrelevant. Why? Because from the peak in April, deaths had decreased by 90 percent and were continuing to crash. That was not terrifying enough so the media pretended this good news did not exist.

With massive increases in testing, the “case” numbers climbed. This is not rocket science: the more people you test the more “cases” you discover.

Unfortunately our mainstream media is only interested in pushing the “party line.” So the good news that millions more have been exposed while the fatality rate continues to decline – meaning the virus is getting weaker – is buried under hysterical false reporting of “new cases.”

Unfortunately many governors, including our own here in Texas, are incapable of resisting the endless lies of the mainstream media. They are putting Americans again through the nightmare of forced business closures, mandated face masks, and restrictions of Constitutional liberties based on false propaganda.

Lockdown 2.0 Hits America Just in Time to Ruin Everything

We’re back to this already. While enjoying a perfectly lovely dinner with nine other people as we were celebrating a friend’s birthday I discovered that I’d missed the news Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey had issued another lockdown edict. I really wanted to like Ducey when I moved back to my native state a couple of years ago but he’s been a continuing disappointment and makes me worry about Arizona’s ability to resist becoming purple for good during this next election.

The move wasn’t entirely surprising. I felt that another lockdown was imminent when Vice President Mike Pence canceled a visit that he was scheduled to make here today because of increasing coronavirus concerns. The weak Ducey was bound to use that as cover to issue Lockdown 2.0.

The move here comes shortly after Greg Abbott in Texas issued another executive order for a partial lockdown and Gavin Newsom in California is quickly slipping back into petty tyrant mode. None of these orders are lockdowns as comprehensive as what we all went through in March and April, but we know that’s coming. Newsom is already signaling as much.

The lockdown virtue-signaling is already back in full bloom. Il Ducey’s Twitter feed was positively insufferable on Monday night. It was almost as if he were auditioning to be the Democrats’ new favorite useful idiot Republican. The liberal responses were so laden with hysteria that I think the poor dears are at greater risk of succumbing to cardiac arrest than they are COVID-19.

What’s most infuriating here is that we’re being asked to engage in some monumental suspension of disbelief and pretend that people hanging out in bars are responsible for some recent spikes in infection rates but that thousands of people marching, rioting, and looting for weeks had nothing to do with it. In fact, those still aren’t going to be shut down. When Ducey was asked about protests he was suddenly a huge fan of the Constitution and the right to peaceable assembly, no matter how lacking in peace the assemblies happen to be.

There will be no lockdown for anyone who wants to break windows downtown but I’m a COVID monster if I want to have a beer at my local pub with a friend.

Cities Protecting Statues By Disguising Them As Karl Marx

U.S.—Looking to protect their statues and other municipal monuments, cities and towns across the country have begun disguising their statues as Karl Marx.

City councils all over are ordering Karl Marx wigs and putting them on Teddy Roosevelt, George Washington, Christopher Columbus, and other statues. The move has proven extremely effective at deterring Antifa and other extremist groups, who are only looking for statues of old hateful white guys to destroy and not statues of communists.

“As soon as enraged rioters see the statue isn’t of a dangerous, murderous madman whose ideas killed hundreds of millions but is just of Karl Marx, they move on,” said one city council member in Illinois as he put a Karl Marx wig and beard on a statue of Abraham Lincoln. “Well, first, they bow respectfully to their hero and then move on.”

Plaques on the statues with controversial quotes from the Founding Fathers are also being covered up with Marx quotes like “Let the ruling classes tremble at a Communistic revolution!” and “Workers of the world, unite!”

Some towns are reporting that Che Guevara chin stubble and a beret also work wonders at saving the monuments.
