America’s Revolutionary Founders Would Be Anti-Government Extremists Today

Had the Declaration of Independence been written today, it would have rendered its signers extremists or terrorists, resulting in them being placed on a government watch list, targeted for surveillance of their activities and correspondence, and potentially arrested, held indefinitely, stripped of their rights and labeled enemy combatants.

This is no longer the stuff of speculation and warning.

In fact, Attorney General William Barr recently announced plans to target, track and surveil “anti-government extremists” and preemptively nip in the bud any “threats” to public safety and the rule of law.

It doesn’t matter that the stated purpose of Barr’s anti-government extremist task force is to investigate dissidents on the far right (the “boogaloo” movement) and far left (antifa, a loosely organized anti-fascist group) who have been accused of instigating violence and disrupting peaceful protests.

Boogaloo and Antifa have given the government the perfect excuse for declaring war (with all that entails: surveillance, threat assessments, pre-crime, etc.) against so-called anti-government extremists.

Without a doubt, America’s revolutionary founders would have been at the top of Barr’s list.

After all, the people who fomented the American Revolution spoke out at rallies, distributed critical pamphlets, wrote scathing editorials and took to the streets in protest. They were rebelling against a government they saw as being excessive in its taxation and spending. For their efforts, they were demonized and painted as an angry mob, extremists akin to terrorists, by the ruler of the day, King George III.

Of course, it doesn’t take much to be considered an anti-government extremist (a.k.a. domestic terrorist) today.

If you believe in and exercise your rights under the Constitution (namely, your right to speak freely, worship freely, associate with like-minded individuals who share your political views, criticize the government, own a weapon, demand a warrant before being questioned or searched by the police, or any other activity viewed as potentially anti-government, racist, bigoted, anarchic or sovereign), you’re at the top of the government’s terrorism watch list.

Indeed, under Barr’s new task force, I and every other individual today who dares to speak truth to power could also be targeted for surveillance, because what we’re really dealing with is a government that wants to suppress dangerous words—words about its warring empire, words about its land grabs, words about its militarized police, words about its killing, its poisoning and its corruption—in order to keep its lies going.

This is how the government plans to snuff out any attempts by “we the people” to stand up to its tyranny: under the pretext of rooting out violent extremists, the government’s anti-extremism program will, in many cases, be utilized to render otherwise lawful, nonviolent activities as potentially extremist.

The danger is real.

Keep in mind that the government agencies involved in ferreting out American “extremists” will carry out their objectives—to identify and deter potential extremists—in concert with fusion centers, data collection agencies, behavioral scientists, corporations, social media, and community organizers and by relying on cutting-edge technology for surveillance, facial recognition, predictive policing, biometrics, and behavioral epigenetics (in which life experiences alter one’s genetic makeup).

This is pre-crime on an ideological scale and it’s been a long time coming.

The totalitarianism of Antifa and BLM – will we confront it?

Like many people, I have been thankful for Donald Trump’s efforts to bring back jobs lost to the globalist trade policies of his predecessors. He is the first president we have had in a long time who actually cares about common working people. This is more than can be said for Bush, Clinton and Obama, who were indifferent to the damage done to America’s middle class by policies that benefited only America’s elite and the businessmen and workers in foreign countries.

It involves the simple but effective strategy of finding any injustice or source of discontent (which is not hard to do in this fallen and sinful world) and using it to inflame violence and destabilize society. Once the ruling powers have been brought down or sufficiently weakened, the shining apostles of “justice” and “fairness” can climb out of the ruins and seize power for themselves. Invariably, they create new injustices far worse than those they so cleverly exploited. Yes, it can happen here.

It seems hard to believe that people can be so cunning and devious with their long-range schemes for power, but that is what extreme leftists have done before and are doing now. What is really surprising, though, is the complete weakness of the response. Allowing people to rampage freely and then trying to arrest some of them after the fact will not restore the order this country so badly needs, nor will it prevent further mobs from indulging their criminal impulses at the slightest provocation, anywhere, any time.

If this is not stopped by force, by lethal force if necessary, it will go on and on.

here is no appeasing the violent revolutionaries and criminals who exploit real problems for their own selfish advantage. Professing concern for black lives and racism is only a political tactic. Black lives lost due to black-on-black crime, drugs, or abortion mean nothing. The ultimate goal, as one BLM activist said, is to restructure all of society – eliminate the nuclear family and the patriarchy, capitalism and income inequality. This means destroying the rich, with unsurprising consequences for the whole of the economy.

Ideally, the heads of Antifa and BLM should be arrested for treason and their funding cut off. Police officers and soldiers in the United States National Guard should be allowed to defend themselves to the limit if directly attacked or assaulted, and looters and rioters who attack police, firemen or other defenders of the public order should find that that is a dangerous thing to do. Should some rioting and looting anarchists and criminals – not honest protesters – be shot in the line of duty, the media would scream bloody murder, and more violence would result – but have we reached the point where we as a society cannot even defend ourselves from the lawless?

It’s Time For Republicans To Stand Up For America Already

The United States of America is starting to resemble a Target in Minneapolis, overrun by lawless mobs and left for dead by the very leaders charged with upholding the rule of law.

Today, we are witnessing the wealthiest, freest, and greatest country in the history of the world, which took more than 240 years to build, being burned to the ground at the hands of radical leftists motivated primarily by anarchy and a Marxist agenda, not racial justice. Compared to previous generations and their peers who sign up to defend America, these folks have contributed precious little to society. Yet, somehow, they have found a way to bend America to their will. How? Because most of our nation’s political class won’t stand up and lead.

Yes, those civilians choosing to loot businesses, paint “Kill Cops” on billboards, destroy property, and promote violence are being propped up by the very politicians—Democrat or Republican, take your pick—you’ve elected. But it goes deeper than that.

The very people you have sent to Washington, D.C. to make laws, uphold them, conduct oversight, and ensure America remains a safe and prosperous nation have cowered to the mob.

Politicians have allowed the community of CHAZ in Seattle, run by a self-proclaimed “warlord,” and BHAZ in downtown Washington (feet from the White House) to take over chunks of sovereign cities. They have sat idly as historical statues and federal monuments have been defaced, torn down, and destroyed. They have allowed the mobs to “cancel” anyone with opinions contrary to their radical agenda.

We all know the debauchery playing out before our eyes is part of Democrats’ ultimate agenda to remake America in their image. They have not hidden it, after all.

What is shocking to see, though, as a life-long conservative and now Republican member of Congress, is my party, whether at the local, state, or federal level, so far failing to give their voters reason to believe the GOP will defend our country. More, they have been failng to go on offense to make clear the systemic racism that is ripping apart black families and the fabric of our nation comes from the Democrat Party and its adherence to failed big government programs over the promise of individuals, families, and communities prospering.

Republicans must immediately stand up for the rule of law. We must loudly defend law enforcement. In the House, Speaker Nancy Pelosi won’t allow us to show up for work, so we must loudly demand we do our job. We must loudly demand an end to broken schools over education freedom, an end to the failed welfare state over a vibrant opportunity agenda, and an end to broken families over homes with mothers and fathers and community support.

But the first step is restoring law and order.

House Dems Exploit Racial Unrest To Push Reparations Bill

Nothing will ever be enough for the rabid left which has exploited racial division in the aftermath of the killing of George Floyd to advance a transformative and radical agenda that will end America as it currently exists.

It is no longer enough to apologize for mythical white privilege, bend a knee to the Marxist-inspired Black Lives Matter movement or even as Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy suggested, for white people to shine the shoes of blacks – they are coming for your money too.

The push for reparations is picking up steam as Congressional Black Caucus Democrats see an opportunity to move the ball down the field against the nonexistent Republican opposition to confiscate the wealth of those who have never owned a slave to pay to those who have never been one.

With the bill still in its formative stages and spearheaded by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee of Houston, there is a very real chance that if President Trump does not win a second term, that Americans will be forced by the power of the state to surrender their hard-earned money.

Legislation exploring whether Black Americans should receive restitution for slavery may soon get a huge boost, as a growing number of Democrats are hoping to move reparations this summer as another response to the death of George Floyd.

Members of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) will huddle Wednesday to discuss their next legislative steps as Democrats seek to confront racial inequality following the killing of Floyd in police custody last month.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), the lead sponsor of the reparations bill, H.R. 40, said her proposal is attracting greater interest within the caucus since Floyd’s death, which sparked mass protests for racial justice around the country and the globe. She’s hoping to tap that energy to bring her bill to the floor for a historic vote before year’s end.

“We now have an opportunity, through H.R. 40, to have the highest level of discussion about systemic racism and race. And we are able to do it in a manner that is bringing people together; that acknowledges that Black lives matter; and acknowledges that there has to be a response,” Jackson Lee said Tuesday.

“There is no better time for H.R. 40 to be part of the national dialogue, and part of the national legislative response.”

Jackon Lee’s fellow Democrat, Ayanna Presley who is a member of AOC’s “Squad” took to the House floor to demand that white people cough up some money.

The demands for the socialist redistribution scheme were at one time considered to be political suicide even for Democrats but with white Americans living in mortal terror of being accused of being racists it is an idea which is now dangerously close to becoming a reality – especially if Biden is elected and then cedes the presidency to his yet to be named black female running mate.

Even if reparations becomes a reality don’t expect it to be enough; some people will not be satisifed until they put white people in chains and the racist Democratic party will be down with that too.

America or Afghanistan? The growing danger to truckers on America’s roads

It’s the type of nightmare we never envisioned even under a Democrat presidency. Truckers on the nation’s highways and streets now face a serious threat of being surrounded by a mob or potentially dragged out of their trucks and beaten, reminiscent of grisly images we’ve seen in other parts of the world. Where is the Trump administration’s plan to protect the nation’s truckers from the anarchist mobs?

Minneapolis crime watchers reported Wednesday night that a group of four males were attempting to pull truckers out of their cabins. Another trucker was reportedly driving on the Bobby Jones Expressway in Augusta, Georgia, when his fully loaded tanker truck came under gunfire, as if he were traveling in Afghanistan. Similar stories have reportedly occurred on I-70 in Ohio and I-95 in Connecticut. Truck drivers have reported at least two shootings on interstate highways near Memphis, Tennessee. These are some of the most traveled interstate highways in the country, where we now have armed anarchists shooting at motorists.

If securing our interstate highways is not a job for the federal government when states are refusing to protect them, then I don’t know what is. If armed right-wing militias were shooting at trucks or blocking them and attacking the drivers, I don’t think the government would have waited more than 24 hours to take action. We’re now going on four weeks.

According to a poll on trucking app CDLLife, 79 percent of truck drivers said they’d refuse to deliver to any city that defunds the police.

The problem is that even without such legislation, the police have essentially been abolished. Officers get prosecuted for doing their jobs, while rioters escape prosecution. Consequently, they have taken a hands-off approach, resulting in mobsters blocking roads and highways with impunity. The police have been abolished in all but name only, which is why Trump must secure the roads with federal resources until order is restored at the local level.
