Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman was the star witness for democrats in their impeachment effort against President Trump. His testimony, that had Adam Schiff and company creaming their jeans, was that it was his opinion that Trump made improper remarks to Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky but brought no new or relevant evidence. In other words he betrayed his Commander-in-Chief to help a partisan coup attempt. He just announced his retirement from the Army, citing bullying from Trump for his decision. Hey, at least he’s still weasel.
Here’s the official announcement tweet:
Today I officially requested retirement from the US Army, an organization I love. My family and I look forward to the next chapter of our lives. pic.twitter.com/h2D9MRUHY2

I bet that picture shows him e-mailing CNN, trying to get his own show.
Following Vindman’s bullshit opinion masquerading as testimony before the House, he was removed from his National Security position at the White House but retained his rank in the U.S. Army. With him gone and President Trump exonerated, nobody gave two shits about this guy, but he seems to think everyone was bullying him so he quit.
This was explained in a statement from his lawyer:
After more than 21 years of military service, Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman is retiring today after it was made clear that his future within the institution he has dutifully served will be forever limited.
Through a campaign of bullying, intimidation, and retaliation the President of the United States attempted to force LTC Vindman to choose: Between adhering to the law or pleasing a president. Between honoring his oath and protecting his career. Between protecting his promotion or the promotion of these fellow soldiers. These are choices that no one in the United States should confront, especially one who has dedicated his life to serving it.
LTC Vindman did what the law compelled him to do, and for that, he was bullied by the president and his proxies.
LTC Vindman’s patriotism cost him his career.
Oh, boo f*cking hoo. This guy made his bed, so he can lie in it.
Vindman was listening in on the Trump/Zelenski call in which the President discussed separately a possible investigation in Joe Biden’s crackhead son and military aide. Trump never tied these things together and the released transcript of the call proved that.
Vindman went around the chain of command and complained about this call and then testified that it was his opinion that the President intended to tie Ukraine military aid to a Biden investigation, which again was disproven by the transcript. Vindman attempted to get the President of the United States thrown out of office based on his own personal bias and with straight-up lies. He’s lucky he wasn’t prosecuted and dishonorably discharged.
As a career military man, Vindman must have been familiar with the terms “chain of command” and “insubordination” and yet chose to betray his Commander-in-Chief. The only ones crying any tears for this piece of shit are liberal pieces of shit who only like him because he went against Trump.
Don’t cry too hard for him, libs. Vindman will land on his feet when he takes his bullshitting skills to fake news CNN or faker news MSNBC.
