One week ago, Joe Biden was asked twice if he supports defunding the police and twice he said he does. President Trump’s campaign put out an ad noting this disgusting and dangerous fact and now suddenly Crazy Joe claims he never said it and in fact supports increasing funding to law enforcement. And because he truly is crazy, while saying he doesn’t support defunding the police he proceeded to explain how he’ll defund the police.
In this interview, Biden was asked twice if he supports defunding the police. Both times he said “yes.” This isn’t from decades ago but rather last week.

There’s not a lie or exaggeration in that ad.
Biden’s people realized how bad Joe’s pandering to Black Lives Matter looks in a spiffy campaign ad, so they sent him out to counter the message. And by “sent out” I mean he was Zooming from his basement bunker. He went on WBTV in North Carolina with a script and still managed to f*ck it up:
“The president’s campaign is running an ad here in North Carolina, it essentially says if you win, crime calls will go unanswered, because you support defunding the police. Where do you stand on that issue?” anchor Jamie Boll asked.
“That has never been my position, it is not my position now,” Biden said.
Because Biden is counting on people not paying attention to him, he proceeded to explain that he does in fact support defunding the police.
“Where I stand on it is police have to clean up their act. That they only thing that will happen if they don’t have a a a program where they train police to do the minimum conduct, minimum effort to inflict harm and so on and so forth not chokeholds and all those things, what happens is they’ll lose some federal funding,” stammered Biden.
Well, that’s defunding police, isn’t it? Police departments would have do whatever nonsensical thing Biden just said or they will lose federal funding, meaning they would be defunded.
This is also defunding the police:
“But if they do what they have to do, they in fact will get all the funding, and they need more funding, not less funding. They need more help. They need psychologists, they need people who are going to help them deal with those crises that exist,” Biden said.
A big part of defunding the police is replacing cops with social workers and psychologists, which is exactly what Biden has described.
Biden finished up with easily one of the most bonkers things he ever claimed. He was asked about the 1994 Crime Bill that he authored and got passed as a Senator, that many black people blame for mass incarceration.
After claiming his crime bill didn’t lead to mass incarceration Biden said, “What caused the increase in incarceration was the decision made, there was a provision in the bill for more money for state prisons.”
So the ‘94 Crime Bill didn’t cause mass incarceration, but a provision in the ‘94 Crime Bill did? I guess that makes as much sense as anything else this guy says.
Biden said he supports defunding the police then claimed he doesn’t support it by explaining he wants to defund the police. Joe’s a flip-flopper for sure and he’s a world class liar but this one falls into the category of senility. Joe can’t remember if he’s wearing pants so how can he be expected to recall something from last week or even 2 seconds ago?
