Democrats Tried To Impeach Trump Over Stormy Daniels Before Ukraine Sham

Kooks like Maxine Waters, Al Green, and Rashida Tlaib have been calling for Donald Trump’s impeachment since the beginning of his presidency but it turns out it wasn’t just the lunatic fringe of the democratic party. Even before the crime-less Ukraine fiasco, the democrats had drawn up 9 articles of impeachment against the President, including one related to horseface porn actress Stormy Daniels. This is big news considering they had articles of impeachment before they actually formed an impeachment inquiry.

The New York Times reports on a book by one of Rep. Jerry Nadler’s impeachment lawyers, Norm Eisen, which proves it was always about getting rid of Trump and never to “preserve democracy.”.

The House Judiciary Committee staff initially drew up 10 articles of impeachment against President Trump last year, alleging a wide range of high crimes and misdemeanors before the case was whittled down to his interactions with Ukraine, according to a book to be published next week.

The staff members, working for Representative Jerrold Nadler, Democrat of New York and the committee chairman, drafted a sweeping indictment of Mr. Trump charging him with, among other things, obstructing the Russia investigation, authorizing hush money for women to cover up sexual affairs, illegally diverting money to his border wall and profiting personally from his office.

And just look at the timing of this:

Mr. Eisen discloses that the committee staff members drafted nine articles of impeachment against Mr. Trump in August 2019, even before the Ukraine episode came to light.

The way things are supposed to work is, the House forms an impeachment inquiry to investigate and if anything is found, then draw up articles of impeachment. House speaker Nancy Pelosi didn’t form an impeachment inquiry until September 24, 2019. Yet here is proof they had already drafted 9 articles of impeachment almost 2 months before that.

Actually they drafted 10 articles of impeachment. Check this out:

They would have charged the president with colluding with Russia even though the special counsel Robert S. Mueller III reported that he did not find enough evidence to prove a criminal conspiracy, reasoning that Mr. Trump knowingly benefited from Moscow’s intervention in the 2016 election and that proving a statutory violation was not necessary for impeachment.

They also would have charged Mr. Trump with obstructing Mr. Mueller’s investigation, obstructing congressional investigations, engaging in the hush money scheme carried out by Mr. Cohen, dangling pardons to keep potential witnesses against him quiet, usurping the power of Congress both by spending money on his border wall and by imposing tariffs without authorization, targeting his adversaries with the power of his office and violating the emoluments clause.

The committee staff members, assuming that Mr. Trump would take other objectionable action, then added a placeholder 10th article titled, “The Next High Crime.”

Democrats actually had an open-ended article of impeachment drafted, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt they abused their power in an attempt to remove the freely-elected President of the United States from office.

The NYT claims that Eisen wrote this book because he’s trying to “appeal the verdict to the higher court of public opinion as the election approaches.” Basically he wants the public to back the democrats’ failed effort to remove Trump from office.

Instead, all Eisen has done with this book is show that democrats were out to get Trump at any cost. That they had a secret plan to undo the results of the 2016 election and that all of the impeachment nonsense was really a coup attempt.
