When people discovered that MSNBC host Joy Reid had posted homophobic and Islamophobic things on her old blog, she explained that she was hacked. Technically she said she was hacked by time-travelers, but “hacked” was the excuse and liberals bought it. She just said something Islamophobic on her TV show that was bad enough to piss off Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. I wonder if she’ll claim racist demons hacked her mouth because I’m almost certain liberals will accept this as well.
On ReidOut, Joy Reid’s MASNBC show, she assembled a panel to discuss how President Trump is the real culprit behind all of the left-wing violence in democrat-run cities. One of those panel members was Naveed Jamali, editor-at-large for Newsweek, who is alsmot certainly a Muslim.
Maybe it was the company, but this is what Reid said:

“When leaders — let’s say in the Muslim world talk a lot of violent talk and encourage their supporters to be willing to commit violence, including on their own bodies, in order to win against whoever they decide is the enemy, we in the U.S. Media describe that as they are ‘radicalizing’ these people, particularly when they’re radicalizing young people. That’s how we talk about the way Muslims act. When you see what Donald Trump is doing, is that any different from what we describe as radicalizing people?” Ried said.
Okay, Reid said that Trump supporters act the way Muslims act, which is offensive to both Trump supporters and Muslims. Nobody on the left gives a flying fart what Trump supporters think, but they care deeply for the feelings of Muslims.

Granted, it doesn’t take much to piss off Omar and Tlaib, but the threshold is greater for them to get angry with the democratic party’s propaganda machine known as the liberal media, so this is significant.

Making this truly hilarious, Naveed Jamali, the Muslim panelist, came out to defend Reid by blaming all of the fake outrage on white right-wing extremists:

So Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and CAIR are white right-wing extremists? Man, they’re going to be pissed when they find that out.
Here’s the thing: Joy Reid is a liberal woman of color, which is three layers of protection. She can offer a half-assed apology that blames Trump for everything and liberals will forgive and forget. This controversy is already over.
If Tucker Carlson had said the same exact thing, the cancel culture mob would come for him but Reid has the right skin color, genitals, and political affiliation to skate on this.
