The degree to which President Trump has been surrounded by enemies is as astonishing as has been his ability to survive a four-year effort to remove him from office.
With every new report of Democrats being determined to overturn what looks to be a Trump victory in November and with their mobs descending on Washington, it is obvious that a coup is in progress that seeks to nullify the will of the people and to destroy the Republic.
Whether Trump is able to survive a domestic “color revolution” remains to be seen but there are increasingly worrisome signs that he may not be able to depend on the military when the shit hits the fan.
According to a new book by Washington Post/CIA ghoul Bob Woodward, former Defense Secretary James “Mad Dog” Mattis contemplated taking “collective action” against Trump because he was pissed off that the POTUS wasn’t enthusiastic about starting more wars that would fatten the coffers of the Military Industrial Complex.
In an excerpt of Woodward’s “Rage” that was provided to the media, Mattis spoke with former Director Of National Intelligence Dan Coats that Trump’s efforts at diplomacy with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un could lead to such “corrective action” which can more accurately be described as a coup.
Jim Mattis, the coup plotter?
The Woodward book claims Mattis said, “There may come a time when we have to take collective action" against Trump.

According to Woodward:
Mattis quietly went to Washington National Cathedral to pray about his concern for the nation’s fate under Trump’s command and, according to Woodward, told Coats, “There may come a time when we have to take collective action” since Trump is “dangerous. He’s unfit.”
In a separate conversation recounted by Woodward, Mattis told Coats, “The president has no moral compass,” to which the director of national intelligence replied: “True. To him, a lie is not a lie. It’s just what he thinks. He doesn’t know the difference between the truth and a lie.”
Granted that Woodward is full of crap as well as a longtime establishment lackey but such language is consistent with the actions of those who wormed their way into President Trump’s inner circle, likely with nefarious intent.
Mattis also reportedly told Coats that Trump was “dangerous” and “unfit” which for a military man like “Mad Dog” is a flagrant disregard for the authority of the Commander In Chief.

Via The Hill, “Mattis told Coats Trump is ‘dangerous,’ ‘unfit’: Woodward book”:
Former Defense Secretary James Mattis told then-Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats that President Trump was “dangerous” and “unfit,” according to excerpts from Bob Woodward’s upcoming book “Rage.”
Mattis, who left the White House at the end of 2018 over differences on defense strategy with the president, warned Coats that “there may come a time when we have to take collective action” against Trump, according to excerpts of the Woodward book reported upon by The Washington Post,
The Post did not say if Woodward’s book clarified what kind of “collective action” Mattis was referencing.
In a separate conversation, Mattis said, “The president has no moral compass,” to which Coats responded, “True. To him, a lie is not a lie. It’s just what he thinks. He doesn’t know the difference between the truth and a lie.”
Mattis threw a hissy fit and resigned in December 2018, likely out of frustration that Trump hasn’t started any of the wars that he and others like John Bolton were clamoring for.
He then enlisted in the war on Trump by becoming an attack dog for the Democrats.
That Secretary Mattis, someone who President Trump used to hail as “Mad Dog Mattis”, felt so strongly the need to speak up today further underscores how devastatingly destructive Donald Trump is to our country as president.https://t.co/05SKQsBbNM

Via Yahoo News, “Gen. Mattis says he’s ‘angry and appalled’ at Trump’s response to protests”:
President Trump’s former Secretary of Defense James Mattis, who resigned last year, spoke out against his ex-boss for the first time Wednesday, saying he is “angry and appalled” at the White House’s response to the protests over the death of George Floyd.
“When I joined the military, some 50 years ago, I swore an oath to support and defend the Constitution,” Mattis said in a statement emailed to reporters. “Never did I dream that troops taking that same oath would be ordered under any circumstance to violate the Constitutional rights of their fellow citizens — much less to provide a bizarre photo op for the elected commander-in-chief, with military leadership standing alongside.”
He continued: “Donald Trump is the first president in my lifetime who does not try to unite the American people — does not even pretend to try. Instead he tries to divide us. We are witnessing the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort. We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership.”
So much for Semper Fi.
As anyone who has served in the military knows, there are those who do their jobs with courage, honor and dignity and there the shitbags at the top of the chain of command who are interested in playing politics – the latter would seem to describe Mattis.
