Well this certainly doesn’t show that democrats have a lot of confidence in Joe Biden’s ability to win the election. Nancy Pelosi is threatening to remove President Trump from office with a 25th Amendment coup. Last year it was impeachment and now it’s come to this, less than a month before the presidential election. When this fails, and it will, Pelosi will be all out of schemes to sabotage our way of government.
As you know, President Trump was diagnosed with COVID-19, was briefly hospitalized, and is now fully recovered. Pelosi said he was lying about being COVID-positive and now she says he’s lying about being COVID-negative. During her weekly propaganda rant, the Speaker of the House was asked what she thought the prospects were to get a coronavirus relief package done but instead she decided to murder the English language:
“I don’t know what the prospects are when we hear people saying ‘I’m young and I’m a perfect perfect specimen’ instead of addressing the fact that what 50,000 people were infected the reports the infected yesterday nearly a thousand people died,” stammered Pelosi.
And then she revealed her latest coup attempt:
“Tomorrow, by the way, tomorrow. Come here tomorrow. We’re going to be talking about the 25th Amendment. But not to take attention away from the subject we have now,” Pelosi threatened.
So is that a treasonous version of that song from the musical Annie? Yup.
The 25th Amendment deals primarily with the line of succession if the President dies or is incapable of completing his duties. The part that democrats have been interested since Trump took office involves a process to remove an unfit president. Either a majority of the president’s cabinet or Congress can declare a president unfit and forcibly remove him from office.
Pelosi is threatening to do this to President Trump because he recovered from COVID-19, which is the single dumbest thing she has ever said.
It gets less intelligent because this is an even worse plan than her sham impeachment attempt. In order to remove a president via the 25th Amendment, two-thirds of both chambers of Congress must agree that the president is unfit.
Democrats control the House of Representatives but they don’t have a two-thirds majority and they are the minority party in the Senate. If they couldn’t ram through their impeach ploy, there’s no chance of a 25th Amendment coup.
But hey, Pelosi is a power-mad lunatic so she doesn’t want to hear that she lacks the ability to make this happen. When asked what the hell she was talking about, she doubled down on the insanity.
“I’m not talking about it today except to tell you, if you want to talk about that, we’ll see you tomorrow,” Pelosi said.
And she also clarified that she wants to remove President Trump from office because he contracted and recovered from the coronavirus.
“Mr. President, when was the last time you had a negative test before you tested positive? Why is the White House not telling the country that important fact about how this made a hotspot of the White House?” Pelosi asked.
Madam Speaker, when was the last time you tested negative for Trump Derangement Syndrome before you tested positive? Why is the democratic caucus not telling the country that important fact about how this made a hotspot of the House of Representatives?
Oooh, looks like Pelosi found another conspiracy to latch on to. How dare the President get infected with this disease that has afflicted over a million Americans. He must be up to something and clearly Russia is involved.
Just the fact that Pelosi pulled this crap out of her ass shows that she’s the one who needs to be removed from office. She’s unfit to be the Speaker of the House, and Congresswoman, or even a human being.
